everyone go thumbs up that guy who said "when you hit the reset button it should go directly to your catapult. 83 thumbs up is not enough. it's INSANE they didn't learn this from the last game :)
some good ideas. Idea of retracing your step's in the old levels, being tailored to how you played is nice, though a bit easy and samey in practice. I think the Forward part of the game was stronger than the backward.
No mute button = lacking basic feature = 1/5 though sorry :(
Add mute button and i'll come rate this better.
As someone who loved shadow of the colossus, I apriciate someone trying to make a 2d version, it's obviously not an easy thing to try and do. The major thing this game lacks(other than the puzzle element of SoC) is actually a really easy thing that should be done differantly if you make a sequel. In SoC, you can see the giant right from the begining of the fight. In this game, you never get the sense that you are actually climbing a creature untill the fight is over, because you never see the actual creature untill the end of the fight, so it's kind of like just "i'm climbing this boring mountain". You never get any sense of scale of the actual creature untill the fight is all over.
I had to stop playing. Not because the game wasn't fun, but because it made my wrist sore.
Really, you should add keyboard controls, they'd be alot clunkier than the mouse controls, but'd be nice to play this game pain free.
Levels are very boring and repetative, on the offchance a level did have something unique about it to figure out, you tell the player exactly what to do at the top, the game goes on about 3 times as long as it should for the amount of variety it had.
I liked the concept with the whole soft world you press into and launch out of though.
Just way too easy. I literally only got hit by one boss, and him only once.
Otherwise, the only time you'd get hit is ramming into bullets inorder to grab those experience orbs during the levels.
When you make a shooter game that it's so easy that health is essentially a useless stat, that's a problem i think.
Not a puzzle game at all. Decent fun little platformer though, just misadvertised. I never once, stopped to figure out what to do in a level, the only challenge was in platforming, not puzzling.
sound options don't work. turned sound down both sound options all the way, game kept blaring at me.
You've actually managed to make this worse in your lazy port job. Original quake would alteast mute if I told it too.
Fun enough kind of 15 minute game.
The quotes don't actually relate back to the gameplay/plot in any way shape or form and seem really silly in a "Oh and hey, here's some quotes I like" kind of way that has nothing to do with anything.
