OK, the reason why your game lags is obviously through the stars. You can greatly improve the way you handle them and reduce them to almost no lag at all using superior methods compared to what you have now, which I am betting is just an array where you shift the stars if the player has moved. You can do this more efficiently thought Bitmaps or just regular sprites added to a single moving layer.
:( I saw this on FGL and it doesn't seem to be the best of your work. I mean its great programming and stuff, but it seems to be a lower quality than the last 2 that you have made. It might have been the pictures, or the lack of time, and it makes me find this one not to be equal to your past 2. However, its still an amazing piece. 4/5.
Not bad. It goes into quite some detail on a simple but cool looking art. Very helpful for someone like me who struggles at creating even mediocre art. :P 5/5.
I don't see how you are getting this to be a scam. If you actually read BlackBone's shouts, you can obviously see that the Admins know about this and accept it. All revenue will be collected today and donated using Kongregate's donate script.(which only Kongregate operates). All revenue collected so far WILL be donated. As the programmer of the game, I can assure you that your view's revenue is going nowhere else.
It seems like you are duplicating a game already on here. A game I helped make in fact. http://www.kongregate.com/games/BlackBone/haiti-earthquake-relief
I have made this game open-source. It is coded in AS3 and has extremely well documented code. Great for beginners! You can find the source at http://code.google.com/p/ug-labs/
For any people looking at this for how to use your API, I suggest going to the developer center instead, where there is more up-to-date information on the subjects and newer API. The developer center can be found here: http://www.kongregate.com/developer_center
Not bad. I tried my hand at .bat files quite a while ago and found them quite difficult once you created something really big. :P
Now I prefer to stick with either Flash or Java.
I'm sorry, but making the same game over with new levels is not going to do. I'm tired of playing the same game over 5x. Its not fun anymore. It stopped being fun after the second and third came out. Just like Shift. It gets more boring the more you make. 1/5.
Very difficult, and I'm sorry, but not as good as I thought it would turn out. Also, try reversing your up down movements. It will be easier on the player if you press UP and it goes up.
