I like the game concept, but it's hard to understand how to advance. I played a game and it took me about 1.5 days before I reset. When I did, it was on the army, and I got a 2% increase on their power. 2%. And I lose virtually everything else. That seems like a really shitty deal, tbqh. Can we have a stats screen where we can see what we are cumulatively gaining (such as the stacking warehouses that increase food, which, please don't take that away because it was massively inhibit advancement in the game), and can there be better overall increases? It feels like I'm making the smallest gains ever whenever I reset, and it takes forever just to get back to where I was and then just for another tiny increase.
Minor contention point, Blooroth: Whenever I complete the Event final mission (I just hit 300m, but it did it on the first completion as well for 100m), it shows the reward popup for the briefest of moments, then it cancels it and shows the random quest reward (was a level up 3x or something like that). I have no idea what benefits I just gained! Any way to stop this from happening? Thanks! Great game, I'm enjoying it thoroughly. :)
DEV: Is Epic click coded correctly? I've upgraded twice (so it does 100 clicks at once), and the number that appears in my money is only half of what numbers appear above the statue. All other $ and XP modifiers are currently equal, EXCEPT that my dark mine actually has +150% money boost and +0% XP boost. Yet I only get half the money? aka, hit Epic Click, I get $100, but the number that is above the statue says 200
REQUEST: Please put a Reset button or keyboard shortcut on the individual levels. People like me who like doing it without mistakes would appreciate it. Additionally, when I do make a mistake and go back to the levels screen, it's saving my stuff. I want to restart immediately, not have to make 6 mistakes to restart!
Can we PLEASE, for the love of whatever you believe in, have Tronix removed from the Daily Quests? FFS, this is frickin ridiculous. It's one thing if he was at the front, but being at the back when it takes two hits to kill everything in front, that's up to 24 damage to each of my creatures before him, and that's ridiculous. Either really buff up his followers count or just outright remove him, but there's no reason I should be failing at DQ20 with over 1.25M followers.
:( Been running the game for three days now. Had a power outage 12 hours ago, came back and reloaded browser (Microsoft Edge) when I got home and now the game has completely started over. Auto save has been working, up until I reloaded my browser tab, and I don't clear cookies. What happened?! NOT HAPPY.
I'm on patch 2.5.2.1, and no, the strength of the heroes is NOT the same as the monsters replaced. Maybe that would be the case if these were level 1 Heroes, but when I'm fighting Lvl 50-80 Legendary heroes on DQ 5... :( Regular monsters were tough enough, esp at DQ 20!
I'm going to add to the list of complaints about Daily Quests. WAY too difficult now. Before the update, I was getting to DQ 20. Now, I'm starting to struggle around DQ 12, and I can't beat DQ 15. Please rebalance this ASAP!
I've left this idling with checking in at least once every six hours for about two days. All of a sudden this game causes a MASSIVE slowdown of my computer, (GTX 1080, this shouldn't happen), and upon tab restart, I find I've lost about 18 hours of idling. And I didn't quite a bit of selling and active watching. I am not happy, especially given that apparently this game was published and hasn't been worked on since day 3. It's also really crappy that the game apparently won't advance if it's not the active tab.
Am I just doing something wrong on the Daily Fight monster stuff? I've got 44936 followers, which maybe isn't that much, but I'm not gaining many more at any significant rate, and yet my Daily Fight opponent is always something in the 75000s or above. Is this something we're supposed to be advancing in? I've been going at this for a couple of weeks now, and have zero advancement (still Lvl 1).
There's a bug that still affects the jail cell, because every now and then it takes a good 5 minutes before I can roll again. This goes away if I restart the browser tab.
Have a "next" option or setting the x10, x25, etc, to not go up exactly that amount, but rather just to the next interval of the next bonus benefit would be nice. e.g., x25 activated when a card is at 12 would go up to level 25, x10 when level 33 would go to 43 and then a second press would only go up to 50. Enjoying the gameplay!
Update seems to have broken my game as well. Doesn't make it through the loading bar before giving a pop up saying
An error occurred running the Unity content on this page. See your browser's Javascript console for more info. The error was: Script error.
I've got 50K+ gold and 10 artifacts, and the researchers say they need 50K gold and 10 artifacts for me to get one. However, my researcher button is still greyed out. Is there something I'm not doing right? far as I can see, I meet the requirements, but can't start building up research :(
Whoops, used > instead of >=, so if you have EXACTLY 10 artifacts, it won't show up able to buy it. You should be able to get it if you get an 11th artifact. (Same thing for gold, but you usually will have a fraction of a gold, so you'll almost never have exactly 50k gold) (It's fixed in the code for the next release)
If I have a Base Click increase of x250, and I'm earning '553.7 aj' for every click before the upgrade, how am I only earning '668.3 aj' after the upgrade? Seems to me that an increase of 25000% would be just a bit more. What is the formula for final click versus base click?
I'm liking the game so far, but I'm at Level 4, and am a Storm Mage, and I can't go down another level. Going down the stairs, the screen fades to mostly black but I can still faintly see the outline of the prior level's walls. It doesn't load Level 5, and I've restarted my tab, and then browser, and although it saves my progress, it doesn't move to the next level. Not happy about losing my character to a fatal bug :(
Looking into it, someone else has the same problem. If you've still got the save file could you go down the stairs again open up your browser console: right click-> inspect -> console and send me a PM with all the debug text.
A simple game, easy to figure out, nice little backstory from the POV of a kid who doesn't quite understand and a family that is in pain and doesn't know how to handle it. 5 stars for the simplicity and the emotions drawn. Keep up the work!
Perhaps check to see if there's a bug with save states reverting to a previous save on browner close. I left my game on all night, and came back to find that I had more than quintupled my spirits (I have 5.22M, overnight, I had gathered 28M). I accidentally closed my browser, and upon reload, it brought me down to only earning 55K spirits. Losing a good 7 hours really sucked. :(
Are multiple heroes supposed to damage the boss simultaneously? Because although the attack bars are moving for both my heroes, only the first hero is actually doing any damage.
There was a text bug - fixed
