.... Why is it that every now and then, my powers stop being able to be activated? It's gotta to the point now that as soon as I open a brand new browser when my button stop working, a different power stops being able to be activated. Can't click, can't use a number, nothing works. I'm already having to use FF instead of Chrome because of Unity, but come on, what's going on?
Good start. Few suggestions: make the items move/have randomized positions. Too easy to restart and get the three stars. Wheel spin: I don't want to! What's the point of money? I have no desire to waste time on spinning a wheel or playing a match game if there's no point to getting the reward.
wow, really? you're just gonna throw audio at people when the game is opened advertising your website? No. Just no. Sometimes people are at work looking for a quick distraction, and don't need co-workers/bosses/clients hearing that blasting out.
it's a bit long and slow. a few little things here and there that annoy quite a bit, such as healing. If I accidentally hit it, I die because enemies shoot/hit me while I'm healing. Then I have the fun of being on level 13 or whatever, and having to go all the way back to level EIGHT because of a BS checkpoint system that doesn't save by the level. That really needs to be fixed, because it is a MASSIVE PAIN IN THE ASS to have to go through all these levels again. I should be able to zip through levels when I'm pretty much maxed out.
What was the point of releasing this? It;s a step backwards from the prior game. No significantly different gameplay other than an annoying new navigation requirement. No attention really given to the comments/requests in the last version of the game. No tooltips with descriptions of what exactly skills and fort attacks do aside from attack numbers and time limits. Needs game testers who don't know the game so you can see what everyone else will think before a full release
SO tedious. It goes from what could be a solid 4 star to a two star because it loses so much when I'm sick of playing the game because it's no different later on. Upgrades don't do much. When I have fully upgraded EVERYTHING, I expect to cut through enemies like they're nothin. instead, it's a constant grind/bulletfest. LONG regen time, spell keys are a pain to deal with... great potential, not so much on execution :(
Game isn't that difficult if you conserve ammo, but it's absolutely infuriating to constantly get stuck on terrain. No suicide button means I have to restart the ENTIRE MAP. I'm sorry, but that's a one star for me. That's just simple playtesting.
Minor bug: When you go on higher map levels to get better upgrades, the upgrades come with the more expensive upgrades having higher priority. i.e. I'm getting Dagger and Boots Level 5 before I'm getting Greatsword and Breastplate Level 4.
I don't tend to like energy games, mainly because it really stifles gameplay. Same in this game, playing stocks really isn't a time passer. This could be a lot more fun if a full bar could be achieved in an hour, instead of three. Same problems exist as on what I commented when this game was in beta. Why is John Corp so difficult to keep up with? It's ridiculous how quickly he's able to build up money. At the very least, give us an opponent we can reasonably be competitive with.
SO SLOW! So all we can do is walk? It's got a good atmosphere, but a brave and noble knight who can't fight makes for a bit of a boring game. No explanation as to what things are, I couldn't pull up a map, inability to run. This needs a bit of improving, namely, try playing the game or having a beta playtester first, because this got boring real quick.
The game screen could be a bit smaller to fit people's windows. My resolution is pretty decent, but the game barely fits in my 1440x900 display. Also, the idle tag doesn't quite fit this game. I'm on World 17, and can't really advance much more because resource gathering with 6150 workers would barely dent the collection storehouses I have, even after 24 hours of collecting. Fighting is at a standstill because I can''t move forward, and fighting side maps is by nature an active, not idle feature. GREAT CONCEPT, I love the game and its potential! Keep up the great development!
A that allows for no saved games and a complete restart after just one failure isn't very fun. It's bad enough that upgrades are already hard to come by since the amount of money received is so low, but to expect everyone to go through three stages before you can even get something worth buying only to die on that fourth or fifth stage and go through it all over again doesn't make for an enjoyable game.
Controls are extremely confusing. Click a little checkbox to select my item? Okay, now what? I click like instructions tell me to, and all that happens is miner swings pick. Are there only certain places ladders can be built? Perhaps give a lot more ladders and bridges in the tutorial level
WLL YOU PLEASE TAKE OFF THE DAMNED MONTHLY TAX!!!!? It's so damned ridiculous! I leave offline for several hours, and come back to an freakin' negative number?! How the hell is this an idle game? The only time I advance is when I don't idle, and even then it's slow going. Employees? Doesn't work. If John Corporatski is the standard milstone we're supposed to be keeping up with, then you didn't plan out player's ability to make money well, because it's so frustrating to constantly not advance.
Nice graphical update from the prior game, but it has ALL the same problems as before. The Stock market is terrible, not really deviating too much, the monthly/yearly Taxes are WAY too much, killing any beginning growth. The energy bar REALLY needs to go. It provides no value to the game except to chase people away in frustration. At least have something for 'active' idlers to work on. Yllib said most of the other good points I would make. PLEASE revamp the gameplay, because it could be so much more fun.
I really think you need to recheck your coding for all of the upgrades. I just activated a x16 shoot modifier, and I have a bit less than 5B per shoot. After the x16 modifier, I have about 57.670B per shoot. I've noticed this on several tabs, that the amount of increase isn't what is actually stated. It's a fun game and easy to get a bit addicted, but right now, things need cleaning up.
WHY in the world is there such a huge jump between Achievements Defender 7/8? 175 to 1225? That's massive. Odd to have Achievements that call for killing an Arena 1000 boss, yet Defender 8 completely skips everything between.
Played the other one, didn't even think to look for a second. It's a bit difficult at times, not having any hint capabilities, but a good challenge! I admit, I laughed out loud at the Adam 2.8 bit.
A decent game, but if you're gonna try to force me to buy coins with Kreds so that I don't have to repeat a level 10 times just to get the right car so that I can *START* to work towards beating the level, it's not a fun game.
:) Noone said it is easy to make money
