This game is broken. Most complain about lag, but I don't have any of that, yet the game still fails to register keystrokes. It's not like it happens a lot, but if one out of a hundred keystrokes aren't recognized, then perfect-ing a song isn't going to happen. I don't think it can be just a 'user error,' because there's no way I could ever miss pressing a single 'down arrow' as it floats across a line. This game should be easy, given the low number of notes and basic rhythms, but instead it's very difficult to get perfects. This isn't a rhythm game, it's a game in which the player must hope the game doesn't fail, so that he can get his badges. 2/5.
I found the first game more fun than this one. I don't remember why, but that one lasted me a few hours while this one only took about half of one. The missions were much too easy... I think the opponents should be able to 'cheat' -- that is, shoot at us whether or not we're directly across from them. By using recoil to shoot at them from below, every boss was beaten without taking a hit... Too easy to be much fun.
Re-up'd? Fun game. Bosses have too much life, though. Doing the same thing over and over to deal a small fraction of their hp each time is not very fun.
lol, glitched on the last level! Egypt. Upon clicking 'invade Egypt,' the battlefield screen came up, but it had no icons for units, and the enemy didn't summon anything. The bar was full-blue, but I didn't win so I clicked 'retreat,' which made it all turn yellow as it should have, but even then it stayed on this screen.
My strategy lulz - immediately spam archers into one spot for a while (twenty or so, even though only 5-7 will be on screen... others may eventually walk in if winning takes a while). This locks the enemy AI into responding to each of those, or something, so they ignore the other 5 arrows for the most part. Then spam the cheap 24-point soldiers (militia?) in another arrow (or wherever)... they walk straight through and wins come quickly, with only a couple archer losses.
I wish the game were more difficult. At least a few hard levels (meant to be bested only with high level heroes) would be nice. As it is, most levels are easily beaten with two or three units, even if they are left not upgraded. The only things that stop the player from winning with one hero are absorb monsters. Make shorter maps, with stronger monsters!
I'm not sure what your guys' problems with this game are, but it worked just fine for me. I got the Pixel Pack medal after getting the badge. Don't say "neither can anyone else"... :)
Second place rawr. Died while trying to use ice... but I was out of them (had full 'strike' & 'slow' though...). garr. Pay attention to your powerups, kiddies! Also, to eidosk, you should make the game give us the "error free bonus" when we make no errors, instead of when accuracy is "100%". Accuracy rounds up, so even with an error the player can get the error free bonus. Awesome typing game, though! :)
Well, that was fun, but I came across a glitch where my diamonds were locked. I only had 3 diamonds, and therefore could not make that +pierce sword. However, when I tried to go buy more diamonds, I was told I already had 20 diamonds, and so I could not buy any more. Sucks.
Wow, that was a lot of fun. The rewind function lets the player do each section until they get it right, which gets harder and harder to do as we move faster the longer we go unscathed. Yeah, that was neat. Good job.
Levels are too simplistic, and I spent most of my time trying to skip as much of it as possible (a lot). Some high scores would make this a lot better. 3/5 as is.
Finished. 27 was by far the most annoying. For 30, throw the stone onto the top switch, then the wooden into the first tube and the paper into the second tube, quick-like. The second paper then goes in the first tube. The second stone is not needed.
