I quit playing when a fat zombie insta-killed two of my defense towers. There's challenge, and there's bullshit. That was bullshit. Money is hard enough to come by, so having the game piss away 2000 is enough to get me to quit.
The grind required becomes a bit too much of a chore, sadly. I love "anti" tower defenses (I currently only know of one in existence), but this one's difficult curve is too steep for me. I find myself just spamming level 2 or 3, getting 700-1000 infamy per shot... Which isn't very efficient, I must say.
Those stun-towers came a little quick, didn't they? Level 4, I had 3 basic towers up and they just stunlocked them all. Difficulty curve is... non-existant.
Played for a couple hours. My damage output pretty much relied on traps, as I could never level my creatures up and they died, right along with some of my traps disappearing (or getting killed off). The money gain is not balanced to the rate of my ass getting kicked. I understand you want people to "experience" and not just "beat" it. But some of us don't even do either. If a game is too difficult, people don't play. Lots of potential though, would love to see a series of upgrades, like Hero's Apprentice. Because that's what this feels like. Gave it a 3/5.
Balance is nonexistent. It's basically all luck, mashing any tanks you can afford to pump out and hope you chose the right ones to defeat them before they get to you.
It was fun to play until "Long Live the King". So far, most of the levels were fairly equal (With a bit of intelligence advantage in our part, as the computer didn't use portals or buff-orbs), but giving four seperate computers that DON'T attack each other with speed-boosts coming straight for us and no real way to gather forces to fight and kill one of them? Not good.
Vaguely racist. "Remove all the dark cars?" Haha! Anyway, has some spotty click-detection. I suck at these type of games but I'll probably get to level 15ish before quitting or finding a walkthrough.
Needs more options for enemies and tower designs. Because frankly, they all look the same. They could be more varied in theme, too. Right now all the "creeps" have a sci-fi look to them. But what if we want another genre? There also needs to be a more fluid way to edit all the waves. Of this whole game, that was the most tedious, undesirable, and not fun.
This needs it's own forum for "Builds". Speaking of which, does anyone have a really efficient one? Otherwise, excellent game. Spent several hours on it and still came back for more. 5/5
Hint: Felicity makes a good ally, but as soon as you get her: Load her up with Vitality equipment. Then give her speed. But hitpoints first because by the time you get her, she'll be 1 or 2 shot by the enemies you're facing.
