It's boring, but not in sense of the mechanics. I like the upgrade system with putting points into things... But the paths and backgrounds need a bit of graphical improving. They're not aesthetically pleasing. 3/5, I spent a lot of time on it.
Good game, relatively difficult. That last level was a bitch, as was the one that introduced the enemies that SHOOT at you. Those+Hoppers=Lots of deaths, retrying, and grinding money.
"double trouble" map, one of the towers flipped three of my tanks, wasting a lot of useful gold. Good news is, they still shot semi-accurately so they worked as a defense. But still, would be nice for that to be fixed.
Guh, level 9 is freaking impossible, damn boss heals itself and the battle goes on for ten minutes... I can't kill his three buddies that cause the healing. And my energy can't sustain the amount of times I need to use the shield-killer ability. Looks like I'm in for a grind to get that last ship.
This is like one of those many Facebook/Myspace/cellphone "Aps" (applications), which are good time-wasters but only for short bursts, until your energy runs out and you have to waits 20/40/60 minutes and so on for it to come back. But this isn't an application site, so that time needs to be scaled down heavily, maybe the whole thing reworked. But that won't happen. There's no place on flash-gamesites for this kind of thing.
