My controls are working just fine. I can't understand why some people are having trouble. If the game doesn't load for you, try later. Don't blame the game. It is obviously loading for all the other people here. I think it is a good game from what I've played so far. Yes, it is hard. There should be hard games and easy games at this website for all sorts of players. I think it is really unsporting to rate a game down because it is too hard for you to play. It may well be too hard for me, but how is that the fault of the game. I think my brain is the problem there.
I don't understand what "Secrets Lost" is referring to on the Boiler page. I also don't understand what the safe with something like "4 out of 4" written on it means on the page where we are typing words. Can anyone help with this? I decided to take one of the word suggestions the game gives ---"countryside" for 19 points. Why would the computer give hints that have such low scores? I can easily outdo 19 points with just about any old word. Still learning the game. These comments not meant as criticisms, but more as things I'm not getting.
I like word games and I am progressing along the levels. I really have little idea of what I am doing however. I wish there were a better tutorial. The little tips are not answering the questions I have.
Just had time to play a few puzzles, but this seems like a really nice game to me. So far I've hard no problems. Really, just the sort of game I've been looking for.
Neat idea for a puzzle---it was harder than I thought it would be, but not so hard that it was no fun. It was a good way to entertain oneself for a short time. The story--the Valentine one is the one I played for awhile---was, unfortunately, one that I could not enjoy at all. You have to be interested in the story to want to put the puzzle together. Something more interesting for adults---and I don't mean more violent, just more interesting---would be great.
Whew! Finally after all this time I got the level 5 boost. Everything except brakes upgraded to the max, Sir Colin was the driver. Still can't get Triceratops race, bubble or piano. This is SO nervewracking!!!
Hmm. I just don't seem to get what to do. I did okay for a few levels, and now I just keep failing. Can't upgrade. Can't really see what strategy I could use against these things other than trying to avoid the little white bullets. Seriously, if anyone can explain roughly what I should be doing I'd be interested. I've not played any game like this before. Not saying the game is bad, just saying I don't get how to play it.
Anyone having trouble with Hatsworth for gold with Super Bomb? Bomb hits in one of three spots no matter how I aim---and none of those spots is good enough. I guess other people have been able to do it, so I'll keep trying, but I can't see anything I can do differently at this point.
Yes, the Super Bomb helps a lot. Enough to go from 23 shots to 2 shots in one case. If you can stick it out until you knock all the castles down with how ever many shots it takes you, then you can go back with the super bomb and do better. I think perseverance is the key. If a castle doesn't come down in a reasonable time, do a reset, but don't try to get medals until you have better ammo from the higher levels. Then go back.
I got a super bomb long before I got all gold---I doubt I will get all gold. I got it after I knocked down the last group of castles. Some took me 20 shots, but I still got the Super Bomb. I will see if it helps.
I can get the tutorial and everything else, but when I select a level nothing happens. I see the small picture of the level, but the level never does open up. It looks fun and I'll try again tomorrow.
If a game doesn't load, sometimes closing your browser, reopening to another website and then deleting your history and cookies will help. Then come back and try to play the game again. Your browser cache may be full. It doesn't always help.
Maybe a person has to have played the earlier version to savvy what the heck to do. The in-game instructions tell me zilch. I'm sure it's a fun game for some, but all I see is a bunch of space ships with me automatically firing at them. The stuff on the screen isn't explained. A better tutorial might but as it stands, this game makes absolutely no sense to me. Just my opinion.
I have played the game quite a few times now and I have to conclude that it is lacking in content. My W-A-S-D keys have no effect on the turtle when he is flying---perhaps there is a problem with my computer. But as things stand, this just seems to be a game of luck---sort of like a slot machine. Maybe fun for awhile, but I don't really care how far my turtle flies. It's just a matter of doing it again and again and getting the money for a new bunch of stuff. I seem to be missing the part where skill and thought are involved. Just my experience, maybe I'm not understanding the game.
I like games like this. I am not finding it too easy. The drawings seem good for this kind of game---they make it harder. It's hard on the eyes, but you can just do a level and then do a level the next day. There's no big hurry. I've been waiting for a game like this. Can't wait to play some more tomorrow.
The graphics are beautiful. They are appropriately horrific. Really stunning. I was happy when I got killed though. I deserved to die. Obviously, this isn't a game I would get very far in---heh. I know it is just a game, but I can't enjoy killing helpless people. It just isn't very fun. Not sure how to rate the game, since I can't really bring myself to play enough of it to make a fair judgement. I think it is good, but disturbing.
