It was a bug related to tab switching, you were getting 1000 times more money than you should (I forgot to divide the milliseconds by 1000, whoops :v )
This is a really good game, and could be an easy 5/5 rating for me if a couple of things were fixed: 1) Add a save feature, 2) Fix the slowdown issues, 3) I'm pretty sure the rocket/bomb upgrade in pilot skills doesn't actually increase damage like it says it does. This is otherwise a great game and I recommend it, but it could be an exceptional game!
I can't tell if this game is supposed to be educational or not... and if so I can't tell how much of it is accurate... to the Finnish really like saunas that much?
I don't know how this is coded, but it seems to start lagging quite a lot as you get more and faster weapons. I saw a comment earlier where you were saying that it was because of having to do the math for kills so many times each second. Might it be possible to just have the game calculate how many kills would be made in a, say, 500ms period and then just add that much wealth and kills to the totals? This might result in less lag than actually having the game calculate the result of every hit (since it seems like we're getting up to around... *maths* 170 kills each second with the power fruit).
Nice game, however, I have difficulty getting engaged in games like this that don't have keyboard controls because it's very hard to control a spaceship with a touchpad.
Hey, has anyone else noticed that the name of the last shimp boat upgrade, Alcubierre Drive, is the technically term for a warp drive (a la Star Trek)? What possible purpose could a warp drive serve in catching shrimp? My mind is boggled.
Done.
