Definitely a solid 4/5. Great gameplay, fun puzzles, and controls well. The game seems to ramp very slowly though, and even the later levels are fairly easy to figure out. I'd love to see a harder level pack added. Overall, good job!
It's pretty good, solid core gameplay, but wow is there a lot of frustrating design decision. For instance, the coin magnet. Where is it? I don't see one anywhere. These coins are tiny, you have to run directly over them, and they spray freakin everywhere. The waves come so fast I can barely collect the stupid things, I'm just constantly watching more coins spill out all over the place. The skill reset with no level reset makes playing a second time unenjoyable and sort of pointless. 3/5 until some of the gameplay is ironed out.
Remember the part where I clicked on Rocket Torpedoes, and then it gave me a Facebook like option which I cannot back out of, and when I refused to do this (because I never will), it got stuck on the "verifying your like" loading page?
I do. 3/5 for that, otherwise it's a fun game.
The game is way too short. I had everything unlocked in about 10 minutes. I usually hate "go to our website or like us on Facebook to get stuff in game", but in this case (fortunately, I guess) it's not even really helpful. That 50k can be earned in one launch relatively early on.
I hate to be a parrot, but this really does need more levels. It's a great take on this style of strategy game, but it's beatable in half an hour and then I just get sad.
The letters on 35 correspond to the first letters of all of the numbers "one" through "ten". Click the first letters in order, 'O' for one, 'T' for two and three, etc, up to ten.
Love the Dibbles games. This is one of the easier ones, in my opinion. The Desert themed one (Dibbles 3 I think) was much harder towards the end, but this pack is a nice time killer, even though I've already played it on other websites a dozen times. I'm glad it's on Kongregate now!
Yay! I am on freedom! I'm guessing English is your second language. It didn't really matter for this game. It's a lot of fun. I would give it a 5, but I think it's a little bit short. I would have really loved to play more. I'll give it a 4/5 just because of the length of the game.
What we have here is a bad copy of a mediocre mobile game. Let's take a look at some of the issues. First, the progress bar (the evil head) doesn't work. It's not synced up at all. It will reach the end and 5-10 more units will continue to spawn. Second, the stats don't update with your weapons, so it looks like the weapons aren't doing anything, though they do appear to work in the background. Third, the difficulty curve is... there isn't one. The mobile game became difficult fast, because it was designed to make you buy gems to progress. This copy seems to have cut the difficulty to nothing since there's no gem buying, making the game extremely unfulfilling and dull. I didn't really like Defender on Android too much, and this is just a cheap, watered down online version. A solid 2/5. Why not 1? I have no idea. Probably because it entertained me for a half hour and it is actually playable.
3/5 for having premium content. Would have been 5/5 otherwise. A fun little game. I've spent some time with it and there's a good deal of strategy involved. I just wish the tease of premium units didn't exist.
Would have been 5/5 for a great chain reaction game if not for level 34. As others have already mentioned, it's terrible. It infuriated me to no end because there's nothing you can do in the way of strategy. After 50+ attempts of just hoping for good luck (because that's really all it boils down to), I gave up. Do something about that level. It's ridiculous.
I really enjoyed this game, minus one thing. My hotel is about 50% elevators, because no matter how many I build, they just keep bitching about them. I know there's a "zig-zag" trick, but it really shouldn't be necessary. Consider increasing the elevator capacity or allowing us to build super-capacity elevators in order to alleviate this. I have enormous banks of elevators on both ends and in the middle of my hotel and people are still complaining about the lines.
I have blues and purples, yet lose matches to teams of greens. I get 6 games, a tour bus, and then nothing. Can't play again until when? Tomorrow? Tournaments are no good. Every team is full of epic players, so I get decimated and earn zip. Ladder refuses to put any of my good players on the field - it's just using all greens. Coins are all but useless and I can't win cash. If it takes real money then forget it.
I can't justify a good rating when I’m forced to stop after 15 minutes. That’s not fun. It's a shame; the game could be good if it actually let me play when I want, rather than using this ridiculous energy system that artificially restricts users. This has all the rotten stench of new age Facebook/Mobile style games that force you to play for short periods in order to suck up money. There are hundreds of other games I can play that are truly free, and I probably won't be coming back to this one. Stop me from playing and it’s over. 1/5 is all it deserves.
It's fun, but for the love of god please get rid of the blinding at the end of every level. I have to look away from the computer to avoid the green rays of justice.
I feel like an idiot, but I can't get anywhere in this game. I have a near full inventory of items and I've only been able to find two that work anywhere after about 30 minutes of going to the same places over and over.
I like all of these games. I just wish it had more than 25 levels :( I went through it in about 30 minutes taking my time. Great, relaxing puzzle game though.
