Good game, challenging, but still much easier than the sequel. What I didn't like was that the screen didn't scroll with the ball so I would not be prepared for the obstacles in the next map, wasting a lot of my time retrying. Still it was quite fun so I give it 4/5.
The hexes remind me of hexiom. Oh.. the horrors! Ah anyway, I like the concept, as well as the mutation, but as others said the unit selection is very bad, instead of dragging I would prefer a clicking style. One thing I really disliked was that when you start dragging the units respond instantly, they should only respond when you let go of your mouse click. Another thing, sometimes units don't seem to move when I order them to or don't seem to attack and it's annoying when enemies start reproducing massively when here I am trying to get my units to move. 3/5.
The battle system is creative and sophisticated, but the characters seem a little too eager to fight... lol. Are they nuts or something? Anyway, I enjoyed it, kept me busy for quite some time, I'll be giving it 4/5, because it gets a little repetitive in the later levels.
I love the haunting atmosphere and music. Somehow after playing this game I feel sad and it makes me wanna treasure everything I have and be a good guy :)
This game is hilarious. It kept me entertained throughout and I actually clicked through each possible dialogue just to hear how it would sound! Give it a 5/5.
This is a very well made game. The physics engine is awesome and there are little bugs, making it really realistic. Also, it is quite challenging. The only thing I found annoying was the rope climbing as sometimes it is very hard to grab the robe. Other than that, this game reminded me of Metal Slug, only that it is much better with more effects! 5/5
This game is pretty hard because of the erratic nature of the damage system. However, I really enjoyed it because it requires a lot of strategy to complete the levels. I also liked that some levels required clearing enemies whereas others required capturing places within a limited number of turns, thus making the player have to play with different strategies. I found that the easiest way to beat the game was to have 10 catapults, the elf hero, and a elite bowman (10 movement). Catapults do have very high range and damage, elf hero can heal and has powerful range attack, elite bowman has very high movement and can capture cities easily. With these units and a little luck you can successfully tackle most objectives. If you need anymore help check out this guide -- http://www.kongregate.com/forums/3/topics/42560.
It's an ok game, at times the game forces you to run past bigger enemies in order to access other places, which I dislike, because this is essentially a puzzle game and integrating this aspect of running away from enemies isn't really what I consider to be part of the challenge. It's not very hard, just requires a little observation and experimentation, but I found it to be too repetitive as the levels progressed. Also, it doesn't clearly explain that the hogs are only for size and do not cause you to lose your abilities, whereas eating birds and stuff will override your current abilities. Give it 3/5.
I have more deaths on this game than MoneySeize. Sometimes the jumping aspect of this game is so ridiculously annoying, and it's not the players fault. Sure, you need to practice, but most of the time you can't control where you fly and end up having to restart. Also, the music is glitchy at times. However, the challenge is good, I really liked the music and the ambiance, which made me feel like I was floating somewhere in space -.- . Despite the grievances, I do feel that this game is quite enjoyable. Thus, I give it a 3/5, would be 4/5 if there were no bugs.
