Alright, just finished the game with the lag. Here's a few tips. 1) Only kill stuff when the exit is locked. 2) The exit is opened depending on spawn count rather than kill count. So you might not necessarily need to kill everything that spawns. 3) The safest and lag-friendly way to clear spawns is to stand in front of the spawn portals (the blue laser thingies) and lead pipe them at point blank range, pressing spacebar occasionally if you pick up a gun. They can't shoot you at point blank range. Be careful of zombies, they are melee and will kill you easily, so move back as you hit them. 4) For the boss, he just has a lot of blood in him and will train your finger muscles. In his first form, simply lead pipe him to death. In his second form, corner him towards the far right so he can't back off anymore, and simply jump and lead pipe him. Repeat this for several minutes and he'll die. After that, you'll enter a level with seemingly no exit. Just die and you're done with this game!
Just start off a chain reaction of barrels and you'll be a walking explosion. Play defense mode (I did it in map 1) and set barricades and turrets (5 and 9) every level. use airstrikes (0) when necessary. The turrets and devils will trigger off the barrels and you'll pick up ammo as you kill the zombies around you with the explosion. With a bit of luck you'll get the hard badge. I suggest doing it in expert mode as nightmare mode requires a lot of luck.
This game isn't that hard. It's just a matter of knowing what the powerups do and using them effectively to start off a chain reaction which will net you more powerups and secure your victory. Of course, the hardest part is at the start where you have to find the spawning area which costs valuable time. Also, you gotta hope that it drops a good powerup because it's not a 100% drop rate. So I think this game is more luck than skill, as the powerups themselves determine your victory and shooting alone will not get you anywhere. I give it a 3/5 for originality.
Who knew a kids game would be this hard? By the way, I think the badge requirements should be 5000 for a hard badge. 15000 is definitely impossible badge requirement.
Argh, ran out of ammo at 443 kills. Tip for hard badge: There's a map with 3 boxes at the FAR LEFT. Just camp on top and shoot, and the weasels can't reach you most of the time. Just wait until the enemies cluster near the foot of the box and kill them and take all the ammo so you don't have to walk too far.
I do not understand why you start out buying stuff at more than their original value. The meaning of bargaining is to try to buy stuff at a lower price and not buy it at a slightly decreased price which is still over 100%.
You only probably need to use hard mode for the first hard song. For the rest of the songs just play in easy mode and do it properly. I can vouch for this because I perfected "We wish you a merry xmas" in hard mode and got 53492 whereas I couldn't get close to this score even if I perfected it in easy mode. The other songs I had some screw ups but could meet the requirements the first try in easy mode.
I like the concept, but seriously when you get the later levels its mostly randomly pushing here and there and it gets extremely boring. The earlier levels up to the rotation levels were fun, and allowed for me to plan my moves. After that I didn't know what the heck was going on, and it got really aggravating when I saw that there were still so many levels to go. Unless your IQ is more than 120 you would find this game boring. I give it a 3/5.
For those of you wondering where the bananas came from, it's the monkey from bloons tower defence. He put down the bananas to slow you down and you're on one of his favourite tracks! Only that you're not a bloon...
Some tips: At the start of a level put defenders near the corners first because they are the most fragile in starting levels. (Also they can hit the ones coming to the centre if you place them properly.) Slowly inch your way to the centre with defenders. I haven't really played through the game fully, but I completed level 2 just by spamming nailguns. One bug? I realised, even when defenders are red you can still cram them side by side if you click. Thus in level 2 I managed to acquire gold by spamming a whole row of nailguns very close to each other. If enemies get to close just use repulsor. Hope this helped!
