Black screens are very common in this game, as well as blank speech bubbles and the constant status : loading in the last room of dungeons. PLEASE fix these problems it's extremely annoying.
I tried putting an ice block under a door and the door came down fine with the ice block over it. It would be cool if you could make it such that ice blocks can be used to block doors. Just an idea.
Here's what worked for me. Put 1 or 2 piercing blocks (preferably 2) on the far right, then fill up the gaps above them with booster blocks facing the direction they are attacking. This will get you through most levels. For troublesome/alot hp bosses, put use the same strategy but if boss is about to escape, wall up the far left with sticky blocks. Remember to whack the boss when you can, and buy upgrades especially missile and meteor. The sword upgrades can help a little bit too. Hope this helped.
You could design the levels and characters such that all of them are unique and have different abilities to access special areas in the map/ extra content. This would greatly boost the variety as well as the replayability factor as players would actually have a reason to use every single character, whether to try out the skills or access hidden places. If that could be achieved, or be implemented in the next sequel (if there is), it would be one of the most awesome game on Kongregate.
To optimise your strategy for the hard badge, avoid all gates at the start because they cause you to crash into other stuff you can't see. Later in the game, avoid any gates unless you are 100% that you will not crash. Also, go slow by constantly stopping your engine so you decelerate, giving you more time to avoid objects. If you are heading head on into something, then immediately stop your engine and slowly maneuver elsewhere. Also, collect any fuels in your path but do not take risks and do not sacrifise fuels for any other powerups (they are useless for the badge). Note that using this strategy worked for me, and I had everything upgraded but was using a level 1 hull. To summarise, just collect fuels, avoid gates and go slowly. It will be more than enough to get you to 250000 without taking any damage. NOTE: do not use fully upgraded hull it will cause you to take damage at the start before you takeoff.
Badly designed game. In the first part of the game the view area is smaller so if you use acceleration gates there is a 99% chance you'll either hit it or smash into something else. Then also some things just pop out of nowhere and there is no radar so it's mostly luck based.
There is subtle illuminati symbolism in this game. The pyramid all seeing eye thing already show it clearly. I'm revolted at the amount of people who have played this game. Stop trying to influence people, Badim, you illuminati cultist.
There's a slight error in the game. In one match the enemy taunted me with "I smell the scent of fear" and my character rebutted him with "Look in your pants, maybe it's coming from there". However, nobody seems to be wearing any pants.
You may consider this an exploit, but you can switch rings to use previously unusable skills (due to insufficient stats). For eg, you can equip Man ring or whatever to boost your strength, lets say to 30+. Then you can on nerd rage 2. after that, unequip man ring and equip some random stamina ring, and assuming it boosts your stamina so that you can use thick skin 2. There you have it, you can have both skills on prematurely.
