I realize in the previous comment I didn't mention my favorite part: the spells having these recipes instead of just being "press 1 to equip fireball, 2 to equip tornado, etc" it's a concept that was underappreciated when this released but I think is great!
I love the idea here, using the right types of spells for the right scenario. it's a little rudimentary, but if this had received more traction on release I think it really could have been something awesome.
here's a document of all advice I have for this game. No, it's never getting updated. The dev stated it was abandoned

don't make a comment just because you want to get likes. say an opinion and if people dislike it, try to see why. If you can't see why, I guess the people are wrong.
instead of giving dash its own button you forced us to jump before dashing every time we want to dash off the ground, this caused a muscle memory in me to *always* press jump before dashing, making me very often mistime dashes just because of this.
I had a very long list of complaints for each of the characters I mentioned before, but I think i can summarize it pretty easily: Ice Mage either needs more damage options, or their abilities need more CC. Necromancer's abilities scale terribly because of toxic resistance being abundant, and life spike's second tier is disappointing as all hell. Enchanter needs more mana than any other mage, but has nothing to help with that.
this is *literally* the exact same game as mergest kingdom, made by the same people. even the badges are the same on both games. with all due respect, never, EVER come here again.
seems nice, but the inputs are finnicky. if you move and jump you get a proper jump. if you jump and move, you go very slowly. You can't do small movements either, it has to be a full pace every time, and that has caused my death so many times.
I mostly have fun in this game, it's a learned taste for sure but I find it to be a fair balance of randomness to make it interesting, and predictability to make it fair and reliable. HOWEVER. what the heck is going on with the rogue? level one, they are borderline absolutely useless. you have low health, a skill that will almost never find use, and a bow which has lower range than all ranged monsters. rogue in 2 and 3 made more sense because the sneak attack ability was formerly completely innate to all characters (which now requires 2 talent points to get to this point), and rogue was simply the one who utilizes it the most. The whole gameplay loop of rogue was ABOUT sneak attack and now I have to be at least level 4 in order to reach the standard. Rogue was even on the weaker side of RF3, why did it need to be nerfed into the ground?
To quote: "Seriously? You expect us to accept a TOS a "Privacy" Policy before we play? OK, let's see your Privacy policy. 1) "In the event our site contains links to third-party sites and services, please be aware that those sites and services have their own privacy policies.", ie. "We DO link to third parties who couldn't care less about your privacy." In this case, they connect to SquareSpace at the very least according to Privacy Badger. 2) "When you visit our website, our servers may [ie. will] automatically log the standard data provided by your web browser. It may [ie. will] include your device’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, [blah, blah, everything else they track]", ie. "We're building up a browser profile of you a la Facebook and Google." Sorry, but this is all too steep a price for me for a freaking web game. It just goes to show that your policy's first line, "Your privacy is important to us", is one of the biggest lies in business history. Screw that. I'll skip the BOTD."
Why did Kosh67's comment not get placed on the top 5? it had way more points than any other comment there, and it has some really important information in it. Did kong somehow do something to not have it be there?
