i like the graphics and core concept, but it is very very repetetive. all zombies seem have the same AI, just different speed and attack range. so you just walk backwards in circles. even bosses follow the same pattern, just with more hp. one map for the whole game. no new zombies after the first view level. even at day 15+.
this game is impossible to loose unless you are trying to. gets boring fast. the only progression is higher numbers and some new enemy types, but that gets old pretty fast.
some kind of progression and more control could make that game interesting
very nice game and each level different while still building on the old challenges. only thing i would ahve wished for sometimes were more checkpoints, especially in the "guiding light" level.
having the same issue with regen not doing anything. left the game open for 10+ mins at half health with upgraded regen and my health bar did not move one pixel.
apart from the other mentioned problems (no hotkeys, too much grinding, low level stuff dropping in late levels) here's one more thing: sometimes when you upgrade the heal it gets worse. for example level 9 gives you 2*3K while level 10 gives you 3 * 1.5K, at least make it 3*2K to keep it equal.
stone & wood could also be used to add some passive defenses. stone for a moat that slows down enemies and wood for spikes that deal some damage when enemies walk over them.
you could also add some castle gates that stop the first X attackers the reach the end
Thank you for these changes. Here are some more suggestions: Remember the map that was selected. Display a statistic at the end of a PVP match. End a PVP match immediately if one has a strong lead. Reward some ammunition if a wave is finished quickly (right now it is a good tactic to keep one enemy alive at the end of the wave to regen ammo and that breaks the pacing).
i have no clue how to use the equipped items (healer, mines...). the fog in level 4 is annoying. the 3 buff icons are not explained. boss AI in level 3 could be improved (pathing). progression is a bit slow. purple boxes should give ammo once your weapon is maxed. PvP matchmaking could be improved (just won a match 40 to 0 and im still stuck at 10 hunter points after many matches). the cannon buff should scale with your weapon damage, right now it is an annoying debuff for me since it deals less damage than my main weapon.
You are right.Working on it right now. EDIT: I cant change the fog at level 4, it is intentional. However, I just updated the game with new stuff! I hope you enjoy it!
Overall a nice concept and game. 4 Stars from me. But as others pointed out progression is way to slow.
The XP, Artifact Chance & Gold upgrades feel weak. There needs to be an upgrade for Gems as well.
And getting 40K gold to unlock a char is never going to happen for me, I'll be bored and off to the next game long before that.
Oh and one bug: When you left click and then long left click a bomb you get stuck with your char on an empty board.
Great Game. Some Notes:
Please remove the "Feed" option from cocoons, since you don't need to feed them anything. Not sure about baby dragons. I've seen no change after 50 steaks. Maybe feed live pigs to them? - Iron Items are not worth it, maybe make the steel items more expensive and powerful so that there is a progression. Right now you just skip iron altogether. - My go to foods were Pie + Hamburger, no need to craft higher tier food. - No clue what the endurance potion does. - Speed potion is totally worth it. - It would be nice if the other npcs pick up alle produce of the farm, not just the first wheat slot. - A different button for attack/kill and interact would be great. - Not sure what quartz and diamonds are fore, but I'm keeping them for now.
Yeah, I'm fixing the feeding option/menu, as it was confusing people (especially since it doesn't tell you what they eat). Baby dragons also don't grow (yet), but they will. I will add live pigs to the feeding option though, and I am making it so you can craft iron tools earlier as a good intermediary until you get steel. Endurance potion I need to make a little clearer - it lowers stamina cost for movement, and I think I will have the farmer be more efficient at harvesting so it's not just the first wheat slot. I was considering making the up key enter buildings on the surface since you can't go up higher (but underground buildings would still need to be Z).
I cant cut the guy loose at the end. Every time i use the box cutters the other robot spins him back down. I can chat with him several times and nothing happens.
Amazing Game. Great level design. Non repetitive, save points are well placed. Great Job!
The only thing I could not quite figure out was the swinging. But it worked out well enough.
Level twenty was a great finale.
Hey, thanks! Just updated with new content! I hope you enjoy it, thanks!
