I've got a request: could you please add the calculated losses to the tooltip of the up & down arrow? Based on the assumption that you switch at the with a full fight countdown.
Yeah I'm going to do this, I'm just not sure if it should be at full cooldown or if you switched immediately like drachefly said. Basing it on full cooldown would be more useful, but it could be a bit confusing to new players when they check the losses after increasing/decreasing and they're significantly different than what the tooltip said.
Two bugs with the new version:
My homesteads are producing * 20 what they should (and use up the food). And I'm not buffing them mit Monasteries. 99 homesteads => 1980 output (unbuffed). And Goldmines don't use any food.
Yeah that'll be fixed in the next update. If you haven't picked 'Vegetative Reproduction', the tooltips will work, so for now you can click it so it's red to see what the others do.
Nevermind my last comment... But you should make it clear that you need "Replay Mode" to get perfect levels. To avoid players trying again and again before level 5.
It isn't intended to need replay mode to get perfect on a level, I will make some changes and hopefully have that fixed in the next few hours.
EDIT: It should now be fixed, i've increased the amount that dropped scrap gives so that it is more like the newgrounds version which I didn't make a mess of when trying to integrate ads :)
I've tried it 4 times now. I can only get 170/130 scrap in level one. I'm sure I did not miss any. (Just want to confirm what Igor said.) Apart from that it is a great game!
I have no clue how to proceed with elves. I've got four buildings (77, 100, 102, 12) and nothing else to do. No units to fight, no other buildings, just three resources, ...
Can you post a tree on how to unlock each building? I've got 17 buildings as human and I don't know what else to do. Can't boost homestead, can't produce books or monks, ...
You unlock new buildings by building previous buildings or killing new types of enemies. Cathedrals are currently the highest building for humans. Monasteries can boost homesteads or produce monks and trade posts can buy books (After you've unlocked monasteries). You can click on the right side of a building to change its production, as shown in the tutorial.
critic: screen size. builder spams walls till you cant move. archers are too strong. archers ignore boss. boss gives too much xp. no tooltips. no way to remove walls. sword damage is caped at 9, but upgrade still takes xp. no manual way to disable wall building spell, you have to click to you stop building.
Needs some balance. 155 Mana is enough to cast each spell once and cooldowns are so long that you rarely get a second cast. Pyroblast should have a much lower cooldown. Fiery Explosion Level 8 one-hits all mobs but the last boss, no need to upgrade it further. Strengthening doesn't seem to do much, even on highest level.
When starting a new round I need to click the screen once so abilities work. I guess the battle area does not have focus. Sometimes I get a permanent "Not Enough Mana" alert, I can still use abilities though.
please show the current stats* on the "choose upgrade" screen. you could also add a pause-screen where one can view those stats.
(* like damage, bullets, speed,...)
Nice game, though it could use some improvements. A setting to only show races in which you have not yet world record + gold medal. Some special attributes for complete sets, e.g. 50% to doge projectiles, 10% to tackle other runners if you touch them, ...
And you can set a world record while finishing second.
FYI: the game has 48 tracks in total, the highest is level 85.
The controls feel clunky, the speed of the char is inconsistent. jumping changes it. apart from that its a nice game. the final version should also have an option to upgrade armor.
the drag-controls are annoying. a death explosion for every enemy is a bit much. only special enemies should have those. for most ships it is better to just dodge and not kill them because of their death-explosion.
Yea, sorry about that. I'll add the restart and exit buttons during the week. Paranthropus is game over (means u got way too much strength compared to intellect and you're way off the evolutionary track to human).
I still don't understand how to earn heart for the shop. I always start a new game with 200 and the maximum I've seen are 207. I've bought every permanent item <= 200 and can see now way to buy anything else.
Some suggestions:
1) Let us skip the "use continue"-screen without waiting the 5s. 2) Enemies should only start shooting once they are visible on the screen. 3) rare powerups (like heal, faster shooting, shield for a short duration 4) possible shop items: more hp, money multiplier, a recharging shield, missile defense
