Arrgh! 4-stars for 4 days goal is blooming hard. Always seems to be one or two (with optimised rooms, to add insult to the injury) custards who decide to go for a 3 or 3.5 rating, even with just 7 guest on the day.
Suggestion: The ability to drink an NRG drink (if you have one in inventory) before playing a game if energy is too low. Number of time's i've forgotten...
You know, if the control system worked, I may be tempted to keep playing. When I die because the "traditional" control system doesn't let me move away from bad guys or moves me towards bad guys when I'm not pushing any keys, you have *serious* problems.
JoMama:
1 - Video walkthroughs are a PITA for this sort of game. I don't need to sit through ~45s per level to find out how to do the level I'm stuck on.
2 - The walkthroughs in comments are more acessible than a video on a completwly different page.
3 - video walkthoughs in other games can contain massive spoilers if you can do things in a different sequence.
Finally! "Great infastructure" - no complaints about lifts. 3 stories high (4 stories might work), alternating. 33 floors, 3 expansions, one set of standard lifts as described.
Missiles too short ranged, no lock on indicator.
Also, what gunship is it supposed to be? Seems a little lightly armed for the heavies, but too heavy for a light.
Needs work definitely. Try playing the good old Desert Strike series for some more ideas. Better still, Zeewolf.
Agree with fuzzyfish. I'm putting all my points into the staff simply so I can afford top summon units in a reasonable timeframe.
Need to adjust either starting mana, cost of summoning *or* rate of mana collection to give me reason to play much longer.
The mini games are - as stated - getting annoying. The speed gets too high.
Indeed, I'm not even really trying the shooting range, the targets pop up for a fraction of a second, far too fast to do much more than spot them for some of us old fogies...
Too slow. Needs either a speed up button, or for the money to be collected automatically so the game can be left running in the background when unable to progress.
Also, it would be better if there was a quick tutorial, starting with a Blue tower, then encouraging you to add a Red tower afterwards.
Don't blindly follow fishslinger's advice.
You need a few options:
Only pulse-gun armed ships have targeted the heavy missiles.
Cloaked ships will only be fired on by bomb-armed ships until the cloak is gone.
As a result, the Destroyer (2) and Battleship (5) classes aren't the best pure forces, they need other classes mixing with them.
Nice try. One bug though, when I could use a high value die to bear off it was allowed, even if I had other pieces out of the home board. Also, the winning movie script caused a crash with flash.
Whilst I appreciate not being thrown in at the deep end, when something is described as a simulator, I expect to have to control stock levels and prices from the start. Record Shop Tycoon would be a good example of how to create a game of this type.
Vampire Mk VI in a WW2 setting?
For that matter, where is the Flying Stringbag (Swordfish)? More important than several planes here, yet it isn't in?!
Daninj - some planes have rear gunners. Look at the Stuka, for example.
