Now add the sequel: D.N.8 anti-idle RPG alien-invasion-shooter, where your ship is an AI and all you have to do is choose mutations (or other attributes), put it on top of winamp visualization themed backgrounds, add a shuffled playlist of your current random music and you have yourself a new awesome chat game.
Don't want your monster units destroyed? Kill the bombers preemptively with spells. Having trouble killing soldiers? Upgrade your monster unit's attack (different from evolve). Most important units (in stopping and kill power): plant(horizontal spam), slime(slows), dragon(varied attacks), beehive(vertical range spam), skeleton(cheap high dmg).
More residential slots have been added. Also, for the people that complain about how there are so many 'limitations' and so many varieties on acquiring options: this is a business game where the goal is making money (by building and expanding your business). You just get introduced to the many facets of the capitalist world, where the roads are highlighted and the opportunities lurk in the shadows. Besides, you do not have to purchase the ridiculously prized gold options from the Shop, you can play perfectly fine without.
The biggest factor for this game being just average is the lack of story. This results in towers feeling random and will distance players from enjoying the game. For a story, you could use a parody/fanfiction on One Piece's NavyHQ vs Pirates.
The game script crash after Tutorial, only black tank silhouettes in tank edit screen (which makes camo color editing useless) and dark mission maps make this alpha version a bit tough to enjoy. That said, I can't wait for the improved version.
A Herculian Devastating Vampire Reaper is a pretty solid build to make at least a dozen levels. Full Strength gear (with Stamina where needed). Fire and group attacks will be your biggest problems, so use Charm ability to lure and single enemy out. The Critical ability has a low mana cost, so don't be afraid to spam it against bosses. Wear sudden group attacks down by running into corridors using Tangle or Charm.
Liked the 1st Necronomicon a lot better. This is incredibly buggy and slow loading. Not to mention you can't change the quality áfter the game loads. It's been said before, but I'm going to say it again (because its thát important): cards aren't taking full effect. If you're going to make exception rules, specify them! And, what is up with the -S- ratings being given when I played worse than F. I'm supposed to loose to win?
Nice side-scrolling platformer. However, I'm not getting the unity feeling. You could've made this in flash too (except for the RMB action). And, the reticule blends in too much with the background, becoming invisible to the eye when the going gets rough.
I don't understand what people are complaining about. This is a beautiful VOC era sandbox with a few quirks, which is perfectly fine. The first scene that you enter when starting the game is how the story starts: your ship eventually destroyed in a headhunt and have to start all over. You can do this by trading exotic goods, but experience quickly tells that taking down other vessels will gain profit alót faster. The ship upgrades are marginal so scout the other islands for a better ship (to buy when you have enough money). In battle, I suggest you anticipate their maneuver in order to evade their cannonballs, whilst shooting back.
After UK victory, "click anywhere to continue", I click anywhere in-game and... it doesn't continue. Only the 2 in-game Kongregate adverts appear clickable.
Although I normally do okay in TD games, I'm stuck beating just wave 27 on map 1. As mentioned in other posts, the game's negligence to display statistics (i.e. turrets, upgrades, waves, creeps) is a serious shortcoming. As a result, game gets downrated to an average of 2.89/5 stars. Otherwise pretty nice game.
I think Silva is a tad too critical on a game that is obviously used to advertise a non-flash game (which happens all the time on Kong, so let's not point fingers). For a tankhunter, this is actually not that bad.
I wasn't able to figure out in time how to deal with the UAV. I see rockets flying, but am I supposed to shoot them or the UAV (which was nowhere to be seen)? The choice of weapons is poor to say the least. If you're going to snipe, at least provide with a m24 or Dragunov.
The game has a decent difficulty, although I have to admit that at first some things seemed unfair. In the end, you still win due to numbers or sheer tactical advantage. However, I would've liked a more visible combat system which applies default melee>arrow>mage theories. Because as it stands, arrows do better than mages because of their hit %s. An item market for heroes and coloring of heroes that are exceptional would also be nice. This said, nice game.
Pretty awesome short game (with some replay-value). Cool story, weapons, buildings and upgrades. The music not annoying. Now all you need to make is a strategical RPG version of this with longer playability and you're in pro-business. ^^
