buggy, gameplay is slow, repetitive and boring. the "friends" that you meet that come challenge you never level up and are stuck on bronze level monsters while you are in gold = ohko yet give MORE gold and exp than most championship matches. balance is bad, progression horrible. skill tree not resettable and uninsipred.
Trial 3 is very easy.... if you cast a spell and hit only the biggest "lord of hell" all you actually have to do is kill the biggest one and you can ignore the smaller ones.
snooze war 5. boring as all hell gets. melee other than the big single stuff like golem/tiger guy are worthless. stack up ranged, c, n, cast regen on the tiger. boooring.
oh great. now the zombie defense game is bugged.. it counts down, 3, 2,1, then goes back to the town screen as if i just lost less than 1 second into the game.
zombie defense expert is retarded. its not even about difficulty or skill. its entirely based on luck. the closest ive gotten so far was a game where i was 2 seconds in and the boss was down to 5 bars remaining but i couldnt keep enough momentum after that and still lost. im lowering my rating to 3/5
are the zombie defense games based on your level? im matching continiously to the point where sometimes my clicks dont register because im clicking so fast. i've probably played hundreds of hours of match 3 games yet i cant seem to beat expert past half? do i just need to level up to deal more damage or is it unrelated?
Better idea: bump the cop cars into hitchhikers making them kill innocents, then bump it up a notch and push them into obstacles, and into killing their friends :D
The game seems well balanced, well thought out but its pace needs to be a little less frantic. I just played 20 minutes of endless and the only reason why i lived was because I was ONLY doing resources, pause, build towers, upgrade, unpause back to resources. May I suggest you have "resource time" so the entire attention isnt focused on the top left? maybe have players interact with prince trey and based on how well you control/help him give players resource time that they can toggle on at any moment (basically enemies, and trey stop moving, towers stop shooting. essentially pause but for resource playing time. Then while in normal play mode you can help trey, do the usual stuff and collect resources but the enemies will be attacking at the same time.
wanted to check out a new game when i should be sleeping (midnight) played for a bit and found it to be 3 hours later 0_0. this game is exciting, new and interesting (and highly addictive)!! awesome job
where are the weapon customizations that you had in bubble tanks3? switching ship to ship is ... interesting but barely so especially when the late game ships cost all about the same.
Meh.. this game is so blatantly unfair. I move only combos i get are the ones i can see. CPU moves offscreen combo x3, x4! how do i even play against that.
Late game tips: make sure your mystics skill is pretty high so your buff caps are not preventing you from taking full advantage of your eq. buy lots of bags of sending/rejuv potions and just walk into dungeons kill stuff and sending all the equipment home. you dont need the cash but the mystics is important and it lets you walk around with plenty of potions at all times.
Hints and tips for new players:
Early game: sell cheap items first before your bargaining skill is maxed. USE scrolls and potions and bags of sending as they help you level your mysticism skill. When you switch to a new weapon, go to the repeatable dungeons to level up your weapon skills before heading to your next adventure or your hit rates will be horrible. Also make sure your mana lore skill gets leveled (cast magic and use a spellbook/wand's attack) as it will help your magic.
Mid game: max out your bargaining skill. the only thing your gold will be useful for is bags of sending + rejuvenation potions. Certain skills will need you to sit there and take hits (most particularly blocking and resist magic.) when you get a chance to sit in front of a caster mob with those stats, you should sit and block to help raise them as they increase VERY slowly (due to low %s). Craft only items you need. Resources are LIMITED unless you grind through mystery dungeon alot.
suggestions:
a) you should be able to filter +compare when you arent in a dungeon. eg legs only or rings only. also it should show all the items that you have in your storehouse AND inventory (without differentiation so you dont have to keep moving back and forth between the two)
b) compare. what you are wearing vs what you are looking at. have a totals section where it shows current stats -> stats with the item you are wearing.
ok some final thoughts as I just finished the game:
Difficulty curve is VERY steep if you dont sit around grinding. you go from 95% hit rate for normal attack in 4skull dungeons to suddenly 30ish% and even your light attack isnt max (its at like 70ish 80). the curve could use a bit of smoothening out. especially those demon warlocks that are a huge jump in damage (less than 15 a round to over 30 easily).
as everyone else has pointed out.. gold is practically worthless. the wiki where information of the buffs are is missing, the repeatable missions aren't really worth repeating (other than for tactical achievements) and the inventory system needs an overhaul.
bah... 5 ancient furs in a row. can you please lower %'s on stuff you already have? this is getting stupid. im having a hard time in the 3+ skull dungeons because my artifacts are all the same >_< 2x paul's wand, 5 ancient furs...
gah.... i finished crusade COMPLETELY and got all the achievements just to have my cleaner wipe out the save before you released this. lame... and i wanted to play as ascended too T_T
