Game is EASY MODE once you get to about the 20th dungeon (and have the following spells) Midas touch (coins = gone) Firestorm (fire = gone) Planned Assault (rage = gone) Healing flame (ice = gone) Sneak attack (attacks dont take a turn) Your last spell can be anything you like. just match until you have mana to cast all of them and you can clean out the entire board VERY quickly (and thus have practically unlimited turns (by matching 4 of a kinds only) and mana By eliminating 4 types of gems with 4 spells, all the board will then be filled with poison, energy, or treasure boxes since there are only 7 types of elements that can show up on the board... removing 4/7 leaves you with 3... and when theres only 3 different things on the board, EVERYTHING cascades like mad allowing easy 4 ofs and 5 ofs. Vote up so everyone can see!

Meh. the storyline is great but the actual gameplay is repetitive and boring. same old enemy sprites, different stats yay... I enjoy the fact you put plenty of thought into the storyline and character development but when you actually PLAY the game... its LACKING.

is my game broken? i shoot enemies and the red bar of health dissapears but they still walk around... i gain no exp for it, spikes dont affect me at all and mark refuses to take his teddy!

Easiest way to win the game. 1. Upgrade mana regen 2. Max out poison spell 3. Finish mission Orca King for Elephant (to take damage) 4. Pick up any weapon with freeze. 5. Spam elephants, once boss is in range, spam poison at any chance you get.

man my fingers are tired from playing. i finished the game in one session (which im sure is kinda expected)gameplay gets pretty repetitive and boring on the later levels.. maybe cut short the game by a few levels.. start with a few more waves?

protectopedia needs a section on wtf some item effects are. gold return?loot chance (is it for that hero's units only or as long as the hero is in that battle?) some other improvements that could be made: split the wave indicator into top and bottom halves to show strength and weakness of the wave. makes it much easier to see if all those energy units you are building now will be entirely useless against the latter half of the map and or absorbed (which should have a special icon entirely) so you dont go overboard and build so many it kills you.

The 2 day requirement on most missions is a little steep. It means you are stuck doing nothing other than scouting when the horde is approaching which really really sucks if they sneak up on you and you find out day 3. As it is, day 3 is THE day to go zombie hunting. Send out as many groups to kill zombies as possible. It means they get back before the horde arrives, and when it does, you have less zombies to fight at your fort making it THAT much safer.

Lacks challenge, the skillsets are uninstresting, the gameplay is slow and boring, and the storyline is nonexistant. Past that though its a good game that doesn't take itself too seriously, the art is decent. 3/5

3. indicate minimum amount of people it would take to clear a square? its highly frustrating sending men out, expecting it to be cleared in 2 turns then 2 turns late you find out they left one zombie alive and need to go back a second time. it also gives zombies that many more turns to creep back... which leads me to my next point 4. slow down the zombie creep! i know its harder im playing and ive beat it before. but if i clear a square on the opposite side of the zombie horde, away from any hazardous and troubling squares, they shouldnt be back to troubling 2 turns later while im clearing the safe-ish areas next to it. i can understand it going back to troubling 2 turns later if the zombie horde is right behind it but clear on the other side.. cmon

great game. just a few complaints. 1. on the harder modes if you lose your starting leader game = over. for some reason my guys just fail and fail and fail at recruiting. now if i lose my leader, i basically restart (8th try on harder already). Maybe let the mission NOT be a total failure by returning early and giving a class that has a higher % rate? e.g. scared of zombies = send fighter. starved = send scavenger. been out in the cold = send builder. 2. raise the cap on the food storage a little per square reclaimed? living areas +5, churches/pubs/farms +10, warehouses +15. would make throwing parties less suicidal since you have to put 50 food to it.. which is your cap.
