@ lewa, money is very easy to come by in this game, it won't be too long before you have too much and nothing to spend it on. Some tips if you're having trouble in the beginning: contribute power cells, they give you a good decent amount of cash. Also, the best way to get credits is to contribute to a contract. That makes tons of money.
One thiing I do like about this game better than the last one is they took out lots of the randomness. I can't say how many times i've rage quit a tourney because of something flying/regenerating 10+ times in a row
scratch that last comment. to end it fast all you need to do is hold the rocket button. he loses almost all of his speed when he hits anything not curled up.
You seem to be confusing something.... having the enemies take 10 hits to kill instead of 4 does NOT make the game more difficult/interesting. It makes it a lot more boring. Make more new enemies, or give them new abilities, just please don't waste my time making it longer.
Perhaps your confusion would have been avoided had you bothered to read the game description, where it was made obvious that this was the first game I ever made, and I did it in 6 weeks when I first picked up Unity. It was for a contest and that was the time constraint. That was over 3 years ago btw.
Having to pay 30 tokens for a tutorial quest is a really really really bad design. Sure, you can join an existing company too, but that still leaves the problem that someone is going to have to pay real money to allow 19 others to complete it for free.
also don't bother playing the saiyan. it's bugged, awaken apparently doesn't work, or if it does it's effect is negligible, and super only gives a 3x boost to power, not to dex or armor.
ok some more info: dex is the ONLY important stat, you don't need to bother with any others, it doesn't matter how much dmg you do or how little you take, if you can't hit them you won't progress. Also, before you finish the second part, wander around until you find the person to buy dex from and buy until you have 60+ dex
And @ schismtracer, i think they incorporated the growth mechanic well into this "bullet hell" game. once you get big enough you can't dodge very well you don't need to. You can eat most enemies before they even fire a shot.
Nice game, i like the upgrades in general, but Rampage is essentially useless, by the time you can buy it, you START big enough to "destroy any enemy by running into them". I would prefer an upgrade that would be useful, like eating enemies gives you 1% health back or something.
