I found the best strategy was to gather as many sheep as possible and lead them to one corner of the area. Once I had them all there, I made a mad dash for the opposite corner. This strategy worked really well for me. Your mileage may vary.
I like strategy games like this that force you to choose between keeping a bolstered defense or splitting it to gain more territory/attack the enemy. Games like this kindda make me think of a proto-Starcraft or something of the like.
The game really reminds me of Echochrome. I've wanted to play that game again for the longest time but had to sell my PSP. I do have one minor problem with the game. While still functional, the cranks tend to be a bit fiddly when trying to get the exact angle. The snapping helps a bit when it comes to this, but is sometimes inaccurate with what one is trying to do. Still a good game with amazing music and still brings back fond memories of Echochrome. 5/5
Amazing game. Just wish I had better memory to be able to complete all the awards. There's no way I can remember the solution to every one of the puzzles to be able to complete the game in less than seven minutes. XD
Great game. Only problem I ran into was upon loading the game after beating it, I seem to have lost the TargetIP and LocateIP items from my command list and they didn't reappear in the shop to repurchase. Other than that, it's an amazing game and definitely gets my 5 stars due to the gameplay alone.
For those having the issue with the easy badge, just take a picture of the completed campaign mode and report the badge as missing. It will then be awarded to you by Kongregate since the description does state that campaign can be used to get it.
I love that they made this a BotD! I played this game before it got the badge and was really happy with what I saw. When they added the badge, I played again to get it. Now, it's a BotD. In my opinion, this game deserves that advertisement. Good on you, Kongregate, and congrats on making a BotD worthy game, KaMiZoTo Creator.
Build: Weapons- 2, 3, 4 fill all slots (once unlocked) in a pattern of weapon 2, weapon 3, weapon 4, weapon 2, weapon 3, weapon 4... Max level all of them; Towers- 3 and only 3 all the way. Max level all; Then play for upgrades as your tank steamrolls everything in its path. Will be slow at first, but it will be very, VERY overpowered once acquired.
One improvement I can offer is to allow for the sorting of monsters via clicking on the stat you wish to be sorted. Say, for instance, you wanted all your monsters to be sorted by how much health they have in either ascending or descending order. Well, clicking on the "HP" in the list would sort the list by that stat and clicking it again will toggle between ascending and descending.
Really good game. Love the concept. Small UI complaint, though. Some of the bottom of the UI is cut off for me (I'm guessing due to my screen resolution). It would be great if the options menu had a "UI Scale" option.
The purple ducks are pretty good at tic-tac-toe. Too bad their defensive strategy is easily countered. Oh well. You know what they say. If two tic-tac-toe experts play, every game will be a Cat's Game.
Low on life support... Can't get passed lab... Only have one number. Decide to spam numbers until I get it right. "...Next failure will result in a 30 minute lockdown." AND THERE GOES THAT PLAN!
If you're looking for the BotD, don't be an idiot like me and not notice that WASD finger placement works best with this game. -.- Seriously, I'm going to go bash my head against my wall a few thousand times for not noticing this...
Let me sum this up. Battles are boring. There's no indication as to the first place to go. Continent maps can't be dragged. All this makes for a horrible game and this BotD is going to be a tedious one to grind though. Good luck to those who want it, I know I'm going to need all the luck I can get.
I came in expecting a typing RPG. Instead, I get a storybook as my weapon. Would love to see this become a full fledged game. 5/5; 10/10; x/y where x=y
Glad you enjoyed playing! Speedrunning can definitely be pretty challenging. :P
