Would have been nice to know that the "Monsters Defeated" had to be tournament monsters. I killed about six or seven random monsters with the monster battle option before I finally did a tournament and after the tournament it finally put 3 in Best So Far.
Ok, so you're actually kind of punished for wanting to play at low quality? Have to play on at least med quality if you want to see any important information (like money, points, results...). That's a bit ridiculous.
Probably one of the most fun ways to kill someone: jump off the edge, wait until you're just about to go off the bottom, then use Teleporter to switch places with opponent. I used this method to finish off Hypergon at the end of the Campaign mode.
Dear Kongregate, please don't ever again make a BotD a hard badge on a game that states that it can run slow for people. I have yet to have the hard badge credit to me, but even if it does it will now be outside of the time for the BotD. I now feel like I've wasted the last four hours or so of my life. Thank you.
Ok, that was seriously ridiculous. Went all the way to day 14 without getting a single Gold Voucher to show. Got killed by a dragon. I just want to get the last sword and armor so I can be done with this game, but it seems to know that and won't give me a chance at higher gold. It's kind of a fun game, but as has been said by so many others, leveling to give only an increase in score is rather worthless.
For everyone complaining that a game has no mute button, have you ever considered turning off your speakers? I suppose if you're listening to music or something else on your computer, this isn't viable, but for everyone else, it's an easy fix. I rarely ever listen to sounds in these games, so I only like using the mute buttons to improve game speed if necessary.
Hmm, actually, if you do the right-click play you can avoid spending any skill points. You'll still have the points to spend, you just won't need to spend them until the next time you finish a game. Just thought I'd share in case anyone else wanted to know.
Ok, that sucks. You're forced to spend your skill points. I should be able to choose not to upgrade anything. Personally, I find having the additional jumping power a negative, not a positive. It puts coins in places that leave me open to getting hit. Looks like I'm gonna have to reset the points again and try to make sure I get the 100k points before being forced to take jumping.
I give up trying to get the woots badge. I get so far and then in the middle of a shift the script dies on me and I'm left with a non-working game screen with no character, the timer frozen, and no way to correct it besides reloading the page. This is now the fourth time it's happened, so I'm done with this game.
I seriously hope whatever Anu is saying isn't all that important, since I can barely read a word of his text. Only way I can read what he's saying is by bringing up the log, which should not be a necessity. Dark text on dark window does not work. When will developers realize this? If you're going to use it, at least give the text a bright outline or something.
Lamekiller: not sure if it's what you're talking about, but it does show above each hero's picture during a level what wave you're on out of how many total and how many more seconds until it comes. Doesn't say how many enemies will be in the wave, but it at least lets you know how far you have left to go.
Ok, couple of odd glitches. In the 'On the Brink' challenge, I was playing a white deck with the Solarian Fortress out and every time they used Frailty on one of them, every turn there after it would tell me the Frailty wore off. If there was more than one Frailty used, it did it once for each Frailty used. Second glitch happened in the 'Rise of the Bureaucrat' mission. I played the Enforced Silence card after having four creatures out (don't remember exactly what four, but I know two were a Feral Wolves and a Council Watchman) and the effect didn't wear off for the rest of the match. Easy win, but definitely not supposed to happen. Otherwise, it was a good game, just wish it was a little longer.
Here's a thought, maybe let us keep a little of the exp from failed missions so we don't get stuck doing the same thing over and over with nothing to show for it.
This game might be a little more fun if there was some kind of time limit or a negative to some trainings like in Monster Rancher. As it is, it was just 'do each training until maxed for level, do races, repeat.' More a waste of time than an active game. :(
To go along with awill192, do the screenshot, but first reload the page. I've had a few games that needed a reload to get the achievement, or even just waiting for a few minutes for it to register. If that still doesn't work, then send in the missing achievement complaint with your screenshot.
Wave 60 completed [You need 1 more]... Umm, I haven't even loaded up the game yet. Unless it doesn't count the waves you've completed, just means I have 1 more Wave 60 to complete. Still, it'd be a fun glitch if I only needed to finish one wave to get the badge.
Wow, would have been nice if clicking on the link to the map opened in a new window/tab instead of taking away from the game page. Now I have to load up the game again on my dial-up connection. Please change that.
