Regardless, another multiplayer game that I can't stay connected to, so I'm done without doing another BotD of the last four. At least they've all been 5 pointers. Way to go with smart selection though, Kongregate.
What the...? Why the heck was Jojo in stealth mode first time he visited my shop? The bell didn't ring and there was nothing showing I had a customer waiting. Ended up getting a 75 for a waiting score because of it. That's seriously messed up.
Haven't even started playing and already annoyed by the continuous loading of mp3s. I turned off the sounds, so there's no need for the game to even load them. Shouldn't they load only when they're needed, not while I'm sitting on the main menu?
@Tidbit99: Actually, you just have no patience. The boss is really easy as long as you have enough time to wait him out. Try using different strategies before complaining.
Umm, not sure how I did this, but for some reason I have the achievement for Killed 200 Monsters, but not Killed 100 Monsters. Sounds like a small glitch to me. Otherwise a fun time-waster of a game, even if it's a little on the easy side.
I think the next game in this series should be either a health supplement store or a pharmacy to give medicine to all the poor people who have bought food at EVERY damn food place he has.
Reading the comments while waiting for the game to load as usual. Hmm, must use keyboard controls on a bullet hell game... guess I just get the BotD then quit today.
I remember when I played this before and didn't get the final badge, since as many people have pointed out, there are a lot of rather common words that the game doesn't recognize at all. Doubt I'll bother trying to get the badge now.
And so of course, to prove me wrong, I load up the auto-save still on my computer, open a city and get both the missing badges immediately... I don't mind feeling stupid if it works that easily.
*sighs* I remember playing this game for a previous BotD. I did everything for the badges, but didn't get the last two for some reason, and didn't have a save file to try again easily. To quote Master Onion, "You're gonna have to do it again."
Ah, a game that keeps on giving (loading screens). Thank you Kongregate for choosing a game that is a) annoying as all heck for a slow connection speed player and b) a major time waster when you have to wait for more Bloodlust to Hunt and then you just might get the possibility of it failing. Can't wait to best another two Dreadmanes so I can be done with this game.
@Kazuka: What do you mean "in that version the game doesn't end when you hit the bottom of the deck?" If you put scoring as Vegas, you only get one run through the deck. Maybe you've never played with that option, but it does exist. Otherwise, I agree with your other comments.
Hmm, must have had the easy badge as a BotD sometime before, since I have that badge but not the medium. Could have sworn I got this medium badge before, but seeing how many different "Papa's" games there are, not a big surprise if I'm wrong.
@cvanroekel: all the info you want is in the in-game menu, not the main menu like it says. Basically, when you're playing a day in the game, click on the menu button and all the stuff you're looking for is there.
I'm not sure why everyone is bashing on this game. Sure, it's not exactly the best game I've played on here, but it's definitely not the worst. I was able to get all three badges in about half an hour, which is definitely better than some BotD games. I'm thinking it's just because everyone else is bashing it that people feel the need to add on.
