ugh... other irritants: knife has a minimum hit range, swing diretion will not change if one attack is input right after the other, it takes waaaay too long to get rewards after the third one and the hives take way too long to get going.
now this is an excellent game; easy to play, hard to master. i just wish it were longer and that the final boss were more difficult (rapidfire perk = retard-easy mode :/)
the game is more than a bit too easy, and thus surprisingly short, and the lvl 9 bug still persists. that said, the presentation is pretty good -spelling error aside of course.
ther are many things wrong with this game. the reward system is broken: you are not rewarded for hitting your enemies, or for winning, so your own soldiers hamper your own progress. moreover, the controls need to be improved: you cannot fire a second arrow until your opponents death animation finishes, which is annoying, and the power bar goes way too fast.
dear god this game sucks! i can't believe that i've just had to deal with three concurrant instances of omniprescient enemies -which you can't see- that can kill me in one hit and yet which require several hits from any of my guns... i honestly cannot believe someone skilled enough to make a game -one with physics, no less- could fail so ridiculously hard at creating fun gameplay.
any game which requires this much blind firing is absolute fail. its creator needs to stop playign around with fancy tech like ragdolls and reconsider what actually makes a game playable and fun.
goddamnit... there is a minimum firing radius but there is no minimum shitting radius for the birds. another thing which ruins this fantastic game is the statues limited positions make it difficult to draw a line from the statue to the reticule. i really wish this game would get updated because the concept is winsome!
wtf... the 'last stand' level is broken; you reach the end and then nothing happens. that said, this is actually a pretty sweet shooter; very old school, which suits my tastes well :D my one complaint -other than this game breaking bug- is that the levels are a bit long and monotonous. even nes shooters are less repetitive! of course there are the seedlings of a really good game here if weasel continues to develop it. i also wish there were a way to select your weapons before battle (perhaps enabled by collecting all the weapons), or some way to upgrade the ship.
wtf... i have to go to another site to play the expansion maps? my high rating is withheld until those maps can be playable here :| also, i have yet to find an enemy that can beat having 1 arty tower, 1 airmine tower and all the rest being seeker missile towers. in fact, i kind of want to play the expansion levels just to see if my strategy will be broken there.
alright, screw this. it's been 50 minutes and level 31 is just goddamn impossible due to the laggy, freezing cursor and goddamn asteroids that are actually bigger than they appear... this level of this game would be a fantastic test for rageaholics; as i sit here, i am seriously wanting to punch its creator right in the face.
