So I need more power with this wave of enemies coming at me; I'll just upgrade my solar thingy. *click* ... wait, my mouse cursor bumped down a pixel and instead of upgrading it, I RECYCLED it, and now have NO power? Hmm... okay.

Anyone have any tips for beating Weapon 2/6 on crazy? It's the only one I can't beat. The last two levels were a breeze even on crazy, but I cannot figure out the strategy for Weapon 2/6!!!!

Just build a wall of energy relays when you know exploders are coming on the harder levels...
Allows you to build more defenses on the sides without them.

For me, I think that TSG is a very good game. It does a nice mining/defense type genre (In space), but this game does it very well. Also, I especially like the diversity of all of the structures and pirate ships, it really makes you think about what strategy is best for defending your equipment from the pirates. Don't you just savor the moment when your THELS, Missiles and Pulsers just destroy a huge pirate fleet? However, this isn't to say there are a few things I sort of long for in a space-genre game: A structure from which you could build your own ships to fight pirates in epic space battles, maybe a little diversity in the asteroids (Like blue, purple, red colored ones), a new Laser weapon, and possibly a co-op or multiplayer mode so you can team up with friends and be the first one to mine an asteroid field, or just fend off pirates as long as you can. Honestly, this game is quite possibly one of the best flash games on the web, maybe one of the best games period. 9.5/10 easily.

Has some really good potential but it needs A) campaign level upgrades and B) the ability to control what your towers target. My THELs sit there targetting little tiny ships while the thing I'm trying to protect is being demolished by motherships.

Badge of the Day and the game does not work because it is depending on another server. Another reason why the games should be self contained.

Can't rate a game high that won't load! Have played it in the past, is an awesome game. Kongregate; if Collective has changed the programming format so it won't play here, it should be removed from your list.

the casual collective server, which this game needs to contact to load, is down and has been for a week now. I don't think there's anything kongragate can do, we just have to wait for that community to get the problem fixed. Thumb this up so people know what's going on.

This is a truely amazing game, that has brought me hours of fun. If there is a Space Game 2 coming out, i'm totally looking forward to it.
I also have some ideas for making the game even better, such as targeting - compare with gem craft, other game modes, such as multiplayer or attack/pirate mode and new enemies, like transport ships who disable your buildings with rockets and then steal/raid it for the minerals.

Agree on the "targeting" note; nothing sadder than losing because my THELs were focused on grey ships while there were motherships on screen.

So... you can beat the first 5 levels without fighting. im working on the 6th now. on survival you can just keep making energy relays straight up, they wont be able to keep up and you can just build a solar station every 10-20
on the other ones you can just mine faster than they can kill you.

For all those who are having trouble loading the game, make sure you're not blocking cookies from third parties.
For Safari, click on Safari --> Preferences --> Privacy and make sure the bubble that blocks cookies from third parties isn't ticked.

I've figured out the pirate motives! There not really pirates. Says on the levels that they are close or inside enemy space. Therefore this is territory dispute. They're pissed because were mining all their asteroids.
