33 minutes on medium badge! This was really fun to play again, thanks for the badges :)
If anyone wants my strategy, its basically "great wall of china". I surround everything (ALL the asteroids) after I get my energy base set up, and use a wall of basic lasers (occasionally upgrade some to THEL for motherships) and relocate them for new attacks. They don't make you lose money for basic laser recycling.
After 15 minutes, I basically had a great wall of basic lasers covering all the important places, which stops everything except motherships and swarmers are troublesome.
AFTER you mine the whole map, sell everything and set up a base with 5-6 full upgraded THELs, a decent amount of pulsers and all the other jazz.
5/5 worked 2 hours for 30 ingame minutes.

And of course the computer I used to beat this game years ago is gone. Doh! At least It'll be fun to play though again to earn the badges.

Pro tips for hard badge: 1) You can recycle unupgraded full HP buildings for full price. Defend using unupgraded laser / launchers, and use repair stations. 2) Mining missions, enemies come according to your %. You can mine some asteroids (small area, easy to defend), and recycle and rebuild your base once they are dry. No need to hurry. 3) Mission 7+, attacks come in order: fighters, missile, exploders, ringers, swarmers, motherships. Have missile launchers ready for swarmers and MSs. 4) When attacked by MSs have some relay in front of your base, to make them stop while you fire missiles. 5) Never forget: you can order new structures while game is paused.

Note to everyone: if you're getting loader errors, you must allow third party cookies until the game has finished loading.

The key to the survival badge is to know that any and all NON-upgraded modules at full health can be sold for a full refund. This includes the repair stations, so you can put one out to repair somethings you want to sell and then sell it back, too. This lets you move much of your base around to best exploit asteroids and so your defenses face the current wave.

Greg, I think I speak for all on Kongregate when I say: Thank you for giving badges to this well-deserving game and NOT another pay-to-win MMO or Idle game.

Aw, I completed all of these badge requirements some time ago after finishing Space Game: Missions, but badges won't auto-register. :( Well, looks like I'll have to do it again. Good thing I like the Creeper World games and already finished the Missions so I only have to do Mission 9 over. :D

training is a mode. the tutorial level is optional. I'm not forced to play it. the game is simple and easy to grasp, as well as maintaining a level of difficulty, and im not forced to play a tutorial. 5/5

nevermind that, it seems i ran into this issue before and specifically added this game to the cookie-exception whitelist in chrome, still fail though, why the heck does it need browser cookies from a different domain to function...

"Setup has failed: loader bypassed" - same issue in 3 default browsers, I try chrome, which is actually set up to allow nothing, full blown ad, tracker and cookie blocking: it works... fail!

Renamed score boards to the names you see in game. Added stats, fingers crossed for badges :)
well casual collective... your time has come :)

This game is outdated. No full screen and about impossible to win even easy mining. And, after you played half an hour, just get owned, annoying.

Badges are live! Yes, live today, in 2016. Newer games have been a bit slow lately, so it seemed like a good time to go back and add badges to a classic that never got any. Enjoy!
