i got 63,900 this time around, but only got rank 2... i got rank 3 earlier for a lower score. not sure how the ranking vs scoring works

the 3D is a cool concept, but perspective is something to get used to and may not be favored by many nuanced gamers looking for more than an experience, but more for a hardcore experience

So, the intro totally reminds me of ikaruga. Game is somewhat interesting, though the powerups are a bit hard to judge where to go to get them.

LobsterMobster: "Are the yellow things money or enemy bullets? Sometimes I'd get a pickup sound from them and sometimes they'd explode. " There is no money its only bullets. The "money" sound is your shield, while the explosion sound is after your shields go down. Descent game, lacks depth.

One thing I forgot to add: I can't figure out if power ups are dropped randomly (in which case they shouldn't be timed) or if there's some unwritten rule about how to get them to drop (kill every ship in a set). Either way it's frustrating not knowing just how much risk we need to take (if any at all). Just a thought.

I haven't gotten very far in terms of upgrades, but at level 2 they seem pretty neat. Other wise? It's just so dang busy. Add onto the business the twitchy, sluggish controls and it's just... Frustrating. I wish it were more actiony and less like fishing. (3/5)

not submitting my scores ether (highest around 60,000). Could use some tweaking (letting the blaster powerups last the same amount of time, not shots, as the missile ones) but still a good game. 3.5/5

I started with 5/5 just because of the SNES Star Fox look. Though the game leaks gameplay, archievements, upgrades, levels and the 2 very important things, a well written plot and hability to go up and down. 2/5 Sorry mate. Try upgrading it and releasing a new one.

An ugly boring game with no levels, story, bosses or anything else that actually makes up a game.
Woah 3d, you spent longer making the ships than the rest of the game. Congrats.

Good effects... But suprisingly boring. I think it is because there isn't really much user interaction, you just sit there and move the mouse and the game does the rest. It should be a spacebar shooter, and I think the FPS needs to be higher. Overall, a good game.

nice game. Would like some more explanations for how to control everything and what the numbers/bars around the ship means

It was amazing for a flash game kinda star fox like it was pretty good even though it was only survival if you can make objectives it would be awesome

Quite surprised by the graphics even though I feel a little weird not being able to touch the very edge of the screen while playing. Awesome job overall.

Blew me away with its graphics and ideas... there's so much you guys could do with this. Excellent job, damijin and Arkatufus!
Oh, and I'd totally dig a version of this is a fleshed-out storyline, more enemies, upgrades, ships, etc. And more star fox references! You know, the usual. And yes, I understand that this is for the Stride contest. But still.
5/5 and favorited.

@ Heliarc
It's an entry for the Stride LONGEST LASTING gum contest. You basically just said he should have done the exact opposite of what you're supposed to.

@Heliarc: I agree, this is for the Stride "Longest Lasting Game Contest" where the requirements are to make a survival game. If the concept is liked though, we would gladly work on another game with this style. Possibly a space adventure game? Theres lots we could do with the 3d.
