Is there a way to manually give money to someone? I kind of find it odd that people can't write checks to one another in this game.

Why is there only T1 clout items for face slot, neck slot, and feet slot?
Y is there no Jewel-Encrusted slippers, Jewel-encrusted tie, or Jewel-encrusted mask.http://www.fashionmagazine.com/blogs/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/000_par7213780.87fa8114148.w400.jpg

If your constitutents are completely confident, you have reached the maximum. Any damaging action(voting out of lines, acting on poisoned bill) will decrease it to very confident. It is a waste of money to do ads when your support is that high.

CS still goes down when playing on Decrease public health funding :< that should not be that way for green party members.

Why does it say (on the binaries page) the last win bill was by moses and got up to 67%? Maybe I remember incorrectly, but I thought Cersei played a green one after moses did. Also, i thought Moses's bill collapsed after it briefly climaxed at a little past 900,000. Or, does this have some other type of meaning.

i just read your reaction to the comment by doomoo about seeing profiles without investigations. i think you should be able to see peoples profiles too, you are both members of congress so if you want you could just wait look around for someone without paying a detective to get all sorts of info on people. you would however only be able to see basic info like clothes he's wearing and attravtiveness.
You can look at people without investigations, so long as they're actually active. I think this approximates what you're talking about. You can always see that info. Any time you see a person's name in white in the bill actor list or introduced by heading on the bill list: you can click to look. So you effectively can wait around to try and get a look at someone. You just can't arbitrarily look at anyone.
So you know: there are groups of players dedicated to cataloging his messages. Mention that you got one in the posts and I'm sure you'll come in contact with them.

Just put an oversight committee on my bill while at something like 2 energy and now I'm at -32 energy... And you said you can only have one research committee out at one time and it cost me like 1000 clout to play? I think you might have nerfed it a little too much... and by that I mean WAAAY too much. Also can you reverse it so that I didn't spend my clout on that ability? (I just bought it) and reverse me playing it on my bill? I'm at like -32 energy and -700 clout...
You can have 2 research committees active at one time. All committees cost clout to play, and the cost varies by the clout cost of the bill you play them on. No I will not reverse your actions. The alternative to letting you play once into the negative would have been to lock out your new ability.
I started work on Clout some years ago, though most major development has occurred within the last two years, with a sharp increase in work in the last year.

I introduced a Decrease Public Health bill and I'm on Green yet my CS goes down for it? I know it's a yellow bill but that shouldn't matter if it's a bill that Green party members would normally support IRL. What's up with that?

Can you add a thing where we can type somebody's name into a box and hit "go to profile" and it shows us their profile (whether we've investigated them or not)? I would really like an easier way to get to people's profile.
I could... but I kind of like it how it is. It was originally an oversight, but why should you be able to just look at someone even if you've never seen them? The investigations I assume are giving you pictures and such to look at.

Could you post somewhere the energy and clout cost of committee actions? Or are we supposed to find out the hard way?
i've posted them on the fb page and some other places before. It's not really supposed to be a secret. I'll probably add it to the help when I do The Great Help File Update.

Why is the Political Party Proportions in Congress graph NOT A CIRCLE, THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE, *cough* *cough* I mean i don't like the oval graph too much.
Well, it's a quick way to end all aid to the country (though at the cost of ending all trade as well). It also significantly decreases relations with the target country, almost assuredly bringing it into range of eligibility for war.

how about a foreign relations win bill "declare war on USA"?

I'm not entirely sure how that would work...

is it just me or does a bill in committee by moses malone get between 50 and 100% more votes on it than a bill by anyone else?

Can a scandal of drug addiction (i.e. Painkiller Addict) still be released about a person even though they're not addicted to it anymore?

Well the thing is most people OD their health, and then if they oppose someone who has a little extra money lying around, then they might be dead within a few weeks
It should have its own button in the ability play panel. Hold control and roll your mouse wheel to change your browser's zoom setting if you can't see it. That's usually the problem when people can't see buttons. If that's not the case, send me a PM with your OS and browser type.

after seeing the libertarian party chat i thought, why not have a forum? when you sign up you have to paste your session key to verify what party, and when you make a thread you can select which parties can see it.
I could easily put a forum in-game of my own creation. That's what the posts are at a rudimentary level. It just doesn't seem that necessary as the posts aren't all that active in the first place. The Lobby will likely feature some objects that are forum-like in their operation as well (such as a bulletin board in the HQs.)

As a friend of DeaD's, I can tell you that he's already being hassled by the enemies he's made here on Kong, if that hasn't stopped him, your idle threats won't even phase him.

Time for a more review-ish comment. I'm impressed that you've made a game that has none of the pet peeves that most, if not all MMOs possess (powergaming, P2W BS, etc.), there is also how new content doesn't immediately seem to disrupt the well-maintained balance in the game. Let's not forget the witty humor and your quick, thoughtful responses to the community. I wish for more power to Clout and all of your projects!
In short, 5/5 would eat potatoes with dev.

This may be too much, but I have run into this a few times, There should be a "last played on.." section for yourself. So that it's easier to get back to bills you were helping trying to pass/tank.
This used to exist but was removed for performance reasons. I've been trying various things to get around what seems to be some kind of bug in mysql, but have not been successful yet.

i see that most of the bills have "Increase" or "Decrease" or "reduce" etc. at the beginning of their names but it bugs my mind to see on the bill list "Income Tax Decrease" because it doesn't start with an action word D:

Hey, um, I think I got glitched... I should be CT4 right now, as of this morning, I had 92,942 lifetime clout, I passed two bills worth 4150 each, totaling 8300 clout, and it says I only have 99,242 lifetime clout instead of 101242
Passing a bill only gains you lifetime clout equal to the difference between the cost of the bill and the gain. If this didn't occur, passing your own bills would be significantly better for gaining lifetime clout, which is a situation I didn't want to create.

I know taxes don't exist in this game, but in the real world using offshore accounts is a crime for tax evasion (punishable by multiple years in prison). Shouldn't using them in the game be scandalous too.
There could be, but I deliberately made it so they aren't on the list. You should use a bit more strategy with those. They'd also clog up the list for a lot longer than normal bills do.

Once you get a message about being blackmailed how long does it take for the scandal to be released if you do nothing?
