Ha ha wow. Played this back in September and got everything but the chain trophies. Came back today and got those in two games. :D

Lol at epic trophy-chain.. Getting the last silver trophy which gets me the "Get all silvers" trophy which gets me the "Get all platinums" trophy which THEN gets me the "Get ALL" trophy... Lol... One trophy gets me 3 extra trophies in total... 5/5 just for that..

Strategy for getting all trophies: Upgrade fire rate up to max then spread to about level 4, and then upgrade piercing and critical hit every other. This helped me get all trophies and to level 24. Hope this helps.

Sheild King showed up on level 23 for me, finally got the BotD. In this game you gotta balance your weaknesses. I'm terrible at dodging so I maxed out regen first then evenly spread the upgrades on greens and reds. You do what you gotta do. Sometimes that means running around like a bitch waiting to heal up.

I have acquired the 2 trophies people are claiming are bugged. Listen to the developers comment. Note: The Fume king one is tough to get. The guy IS tough to kill. I loaded up on the best killing upgrades and downed him.

Hard Badge is time-consuming, but not too hard. The only issue I had was that it took a few tries for a King Shield to even appear - the last trophy I needed. For those saying that they aren't getting credit for killing a Fume King, you're probably NOT KILLING IT, you're letting it get too close and having it kamikaze. Also, something that should be fixed is that if you get all the Platinum Trophies before the Gold ones, you do not get credit for acquiring all Platinum Trophies, you need to get all Gold ones for it to credit. That aside, it was a fun game. 4/5

in this game, you play as a spaceship shooting at evil creatures. i don't like evil creatures, so yay! and boo, because they took over the world. but, mostly yay!

A very balanced upgrade system... you find that no matter what you choose, you needed something else just as much.
The only problem I have with this game is that when I enter the upgrade select, I usually have my finger on the mouse button and inadvertently upgrade something I didn't want to.

This game is pretty interesting and engaging.
Well. some tips.
First, try maxing out the speed.
Then, the number of bullets.
Lastly, pump the rest to three, after that to six.
Thats how I survived and got the trophies anyway. Enjoy!

To those submitting bug reports about the Fume King trophy, both Vessels and Fumes must be KILLED BY YOU, they CANNOT SELF DESTRUCT, it will not count as a kill. Vessels will release a bunch of grunts, while Fumes will shoot spikes in many directions. If you actually kill them, neither of these actions will happen.

What I love most about this game is how every game mechanic works together so perfectly. Nothing feels tacked on at all (wellllll, except for the points upgrade, but I can forgive that because everything else is so perfect!), which is big praise for a game that employs this kind of leveling system. You get stronger but so do your enemies, but leveling up remains worthwhile because it heals you. A definite 5/5 for sure.

Excellent game, perfect difficulty on the achievements: with strategy, requires some time, but somewhat easy; without, quite difficult on some, not so much on others. Bonuses for completing achievements, so that one game does effect the next. Perfect. 5/5.

If anything is a big threat to a big chain, it's the fume. Very hard to get rid of them while also dodging the rest of the monsters. I think they should only be introduced after the miners for example, cause they are much harder.
Besides that, I must say it is a pretty nice game, and usually I do not like pixel games :)

Loads of people are saying they're not getting the Fume King trophy after definitely defeating one. Submit a bug report to the developer so they do something about this before we lose out on 30 points from badge of the day!!

Never mind, it turns out I was just getting too close to the Fume Kings and what I thought was me killing them was actually them self-destructing. Just got the medal and completed the game!

Thoroughly enjoying the game thus far. A few very minor suggestions I would make for any future updates:
1. Add a new sound for getting hit when you have a shield. It's very misleading when you're chasing a 1000 chain and you hear the damage sound without breaking your chain.
2. I often used space bar to open the upgrade menu and then released the mouse button, but in doing so selected the wrong upgrade. Is there any way to require a full mouse click in order to upgrade?
3. A link to the trophies directly from the post-game screen would be nice, instead of having to go back to the menu.
Good game! (Oh, and the menu screen timing out back to the intro voice is REALLY creepy when you live alone and are busy typing comments. haha :-))
