@gweezer: maybe because the voting people are not as stupid as normal and actualy giving 5 stars the game they LOVE! (remember 4 stars = really liked it and 3 stars = LIKED it)
and with that, I will give this game a 3

The medium badge is a joke, I have no clue of how minesweeper works at all (due to my general lack of logical thinking) and still got it just by randomly clicking everywhere...easier than an easy badge..

For those complaining, the exploded mines show how many mines the square is touching INCLUDING THE MINE THAT WAS ON THE SQUARE.

ProTip: Watch where the animals land/walk. If it is safe for them to land on that square, you can also walk there. Snails and mushrooms are the easiest to follow in their path, but rabbits and bears are also helpful if you can watch carefully while frantically running about. ;) As for the game, being an avid MineSweeper fanatic and zombie-crazed fiend, I am loving this game to much extent. Looking forward to new installments, guys. :)

As far as i can tell, there is one, bonafide guaranteed way to get the hard badge. Select the "What's with the mushrooms?" level, stay at the start, and trigger the mushrooms explosion death. Keep doing this to slowly rack up points, without worrying about stepping on mines

no zombies were harmed in the making of this game, actually, thats a lie. MILLIONS of zombies were harmed. buehahahahahhhhhhhhh....

If someone makes Zombie Tetris, Zombie Guitar Hero, and Zombie Baseball, I think zombies will have officially invaded every genre.

I like the twist to the classic minesweeper: with health points, powerups and enemies... but I can't sweep for shit if I have to worry about 3 wolves sniffing around me, besides of the sea of other enemies randomly walking into my path. This game is no fun with so many mobs.

You can cheat at the medium badge because you can get that badge by marking 20 random tiles as a mine, whether there really is a mine or not.

@fredzed - I like when people rate good but hard games low because they suck at them. It's like yelling: ''Hey, look at me! I'm a god-damn 10 year old and there is nothing you can do about it.'' Just why are these kind of people allowed to use the internet?

Nice to have two modes that reward you stars for different reasons: Speed Play for time spent and Puzzle Play for the amount of marked mines. The zombies do give it an interesting twist and make an awesome setting. The only issue I have is that Minesweeper itself can be frustrating when you're nearly complete and a mine destroys your entire progress. It'd be great if there was a power up that allowed you to survive one mine. Also, the wolves are very difficult to avoid if you have no shells. All in all though, it's a good twist to a Windows 95 game. 4/5

So here's how my last game went: Okay, so theres one there... one there... oh shit, just move ov- SHIT RUN!! RUN LIKE HELL!! OH GOD OH GOD!! BOOM!! ... whoops

In trying to get the Hard badge, I found that "Sweep This" was the best level, once you get the hang of it, since it has plenty of open space.
Just be patient and play smart, pay attention to which squares the animals step on without blowing themselves up, and use that info to figure out where the nearby mines are.
If you get a chance where you're not being chased, move close and away from the mushrooms to make them go red.
Use the bears and bunnies to blow up the troublesome wolves and foxes; otherwise slowly lure the wolves/foxes down to the start area, then sprint away (they'll likely step on a mine trying to get back to you).

For the medium badge just put 20 flags down anywhere. They do not have to actually be on mines for the game to count them. Easiest badge ever!

There's a lot of luck involved. Also, why is it that I have to blow up because some stupid zombie ran into it and I was just walking by?

This game is awesome. Only complaint is sometimes it is difficult to see the numbers along the edges of the minefield because they are partly hidden by trees.

great game! and here for the people who think the girl is nuts I'll add a fake back story that could make it more logical. The Cheerleader girl is one of a small group of survivors one of the survivors in the group is a military geneticist that studied the zombie virus for years before it even broke out into the public. The cure for the zombie virus is found in a special type of flower. Unfortunately the only place where that flower grows is on military soil. The most agile person in the group is the cheerleader so she is volunteered to do it. She runs and does flips across the field avoiding mines and placing flags on them so that her friends following up behind won't step on them.

Not a great game. The zombies don't really add much - they're more like minor annoyances that force you to walk back and forth. They also alternate between regular pathfinding and deliberately walking in the straightest possible path towards a mine. The music is some of the worst music I've ever heard in a video game: take four notes played on the piano... repeat that for four stanzas... and then just loop that endlessly. Good work there on the "original score", Mark Wiebe. There's an element of luck to it that's just enough to be annoying... overall, this is just a more annoying version of minesweeper, not sure what its purpose is.

WOW! I just came to a point where 3 mines are blocking the path to finish. + if you think they should make it so this wouldn't happen.

So many out there think, "You know what would make better? Zombies!" And yet, so often, they're right! 5/5! I worry that some day Justin Beiber will figure this out... (Hey, it worked for Michael Jackson!)

I wish you could hold the mouse button down to move instead of having to click every time. Other than that, it is a decent game--nice twist on Minesweeper.

Sadly it appears the game isn't 100% consistent in its markings, and sometimes tiles that 'should' be safe are not safe, as seen here: http://s22.postimg.org/pogs0qwj5/Bug_Screenshot.png Though, if not for that I quite enjoyed the game.

not sure what everyone is complaining about, i got all 3 badges back in may and i only cleared 3 levels in puzzle play. 5 star'd the first 2.... 2 star'd the next one.

I kinda suck at minesweeper, but this is seriously great. I actually love everything about this. The music really creates tension, the game looks and plays great. Awesome! :D

This is a Weired Game!!! But still funny! don't understand how to think "I'll make a game about a girl who is gathering flowers in a minefield! With zombie wolfs and snails!" It gives no sense at all!!!
