If you get two 5's at the start it is better to select only and roll again.
I dint know this was possible, earlier and it has added a completely new dimension to the gameplay.

Just won two consecutive games in four rolls or less. Players get amazing rolls, too. If you think this game cheats, you're full of it. Please read the developer's comments and think about them.

This game is cool for 2 reasons. First is that it is technically fair, even though it might not always feel like it. That's practically the mark of a good dice game; that the loser feels cheated, but in reality, they were not. Second, if you stop and look at the rules, it's actually a pretty complicated game. Ones and fives score, 3 of any number scores that number times one hundred, double for more numbers in a row......I can't imagine trying to explain this game to someone in real life. So why is that cool? Because it hides all of that complexity from you. All you have to do is look at the little cards the computer hands you. It gives you all these little shortcuts to streamline the game a lot without actually simplifying any of the mechanics. Both of these things together make a superb game of chance, not to even mention the different computer levels and the awards to unlock. 5/5. Truly an outstanding dice game.

I was so happy when I saw "A game of skill and chance" as the subtitle. I thought to myself, maybe I can become skilled enough to outweigh the chance? Roll. Only option is one 5 for 50 pts. Roll again because I can't bank. Nothing. Zilch. Yep, being trapped into zilching with nothing you can do seems pretty skill based to me. I look at that phrase now and almost laugh.

P.S.
Does anybody else feel like Reckless should be "Hard" and Realist should be "Easy"? The Reckless AI either zilch or score by the thousands...

Sometimes RNG grants AI amazing scores. The idea behind the game is nice (a bit too close to gambling maybe...) but the overall result is "meh".

Hmph. At least the easy badge is indeed easy to get - thank the stars - and not hinged on actually winning against mechanics seemingly rigged to hell and back. Which I'm not entirely clear on why anyone would ever feel the slightest bit enticed to even try for, if what's described in the top comments really is the first experience this web-toy gives to most people... lol i give up this game is retarded 1/5. 100% luck based.
I had 7500 and the CPU on medium had 5200.
Then i got like 10 time in a row "Single Fives" and since i hadn't 300 to bank it just zilch'd , on the opposite side CPU had 3 times in a row 1500 Free row..... wtf...

This is a great time waster and I play this game often on my phone with Kongregate's mobile app. I just wish the badges would roll over from the mobile versions.

One of the things I love about this game is how, on its surface, it really is just a game of chance. But the more you play, you more you realize that there is deep strategy.

The game is also buggy, you can disable the CPU sometimes by trying to play during its turn. You can fix it by unselecting all the dice and threatening to quit. The badge counter is a mess too, saying I have 91 awards when I actually have 102, and 2 more of my awards disappeared! When reloading the page my counter went down to 79.

In order to maximise the expected value of points, throw 5 dices only up to a score of 2925 and 4 dices only up to 912. If your score is higher you will probably loose more than you win.

What's that? You have a nice healthy 3000 pt lead? No matter, I'll just hand the CPU 2 "three-pair"s and then 4 1s. Don't worry, I'll give you a 5 and then nothing on the next round.

The first two badges only registered for me against the Reckless (easy) CPU. I tried both pvp and medium beforehand, nada. Thumbs up to help BOTD hunters
