So, does the emporium just suck or have I done something that stops it from updating with items above level 1? And what in the hell is the point of a thief who can't steal anything? Stealing awesome stuff is easily my favorite part of RPGs- but these guys are going the other direction, wanting me to pay actual money for a few sparks of legend and extra characters?

I miss the days of certain classes having moves that were super-effective against one type of creature, like the Ranger and Conjurer. It made some of the most frustrating portions just a bit more bearable to dispense with the rabble and get to the guy who's gonna one-shot someone on his next turn. All that's left is the additional debuff Undead get from the Cleric's Holy Light.

Best fun I've ever had in this game was getting rank 20 gear on a lvl 1 and just plowing through endless for an hour.

Man. I thought this game was great, but on higher levels it's 100% luck. After about level 7 the enemies have way too many insta-kill-all-your-guys skills. If they use them, you lose. If they don't use them, you win. Just pure luck. So evey fight all you do is reset the game over and over and over until you get a fight where the enemy doesn't pull out a nuke.

Completely awesome, though after further review I would like to see legendary monsters like the last game. Also, vampires are obnoxiously over powered. often getting getting three or four turns in a row and/or healing completely every turn. Still 5/5

Amazing... except for the fact that 99% of the time I feel like the enemy is gonna pull out a freaking nuke and I'll reset meh game.

Should have a "free mode" than was like the other games, descend on each floor have a legendary to fight, etc, because just complete quests its too "objective" to enjoy all the game, a 4/5 game for me. + if you want to play like the good-old monster den times

Legend of Grimrock Challenge: Start with no items equipped, get rid of everything at the start of a new game. No buying items. No selling items. Hard Mode: Max difficulty.

Slaying demons fantasy-style has never been more fun than here! I'd give this game 6 out 5 start, 7 if there were more varieties of evil monsters to butt-wreck :)))

While I understand your philosophy on balancing the game, I think it damaged replay value. I think, oh, I'll play this, this was a good game, but then it's like, oh ya, that's right, it's blandly challenging all the time.

effing love this game. the only suggestion i'd make is a gender option. trivial maybe, but its was a very nice touch in the other games. just somthing to keep in mind in the future installments!

what party does everyone run? ive been liking the two tanks, elemental sorc, and mass healer. I also like the assassin with hide and anoint he can take out entire back row in one shot a lot of the time

One-shotting the back row every time: 10 hours of gameplay
Getting an epic equipment set: 20 hours of gameplay
That feeling you get when your primary damage dealer has 96 speed...Priceless.

auto scaling sucks and defeats purpose of an rpg. other than that its an awesome game love it. should have an option to turn off scaling and maybe wth scaling u could get better drops or something.

Just want to add to the pile of comments about the auto-leveling mobs. It's not just that the mechanic is unexpected, or even that it makes it hard. It makes it BORING. Part of the thrill of RPG's is that rare, but oh so sweet, reward of things all the sudden becoming easier. And then, before boredom sets in, moving on to a harder area. That on top of being able to revisit old areas to grind, or just to show-off to the mobs, and getting to choose how the game feels at different moments. Now it just feels... flat.

You can if you get premium content, it adds ten new characters and game-play. 50 kreds though so does cost money but worth it.

I would like to see other races adden on too, like elves, dwarves, gnomes, half orcs, ect. That would be awesome! Also more class options like in past monster dens, like barbarians, and summeners. Those classes were a lotof fun.

Tip: If your new to this equip the conjurer and select the spells "Disintegrate" and "Time warp" It is very useful for bosses and enemies that revives.

Might sound really crazy, but I kinda preferred that "lazier" combat design where portraits of characters fought each other, instead of these fancy modeled heroes. I don't know why, but I had way more satisfaction from killing enemies in those previous two games than I do here (actually I don't have any in this game). Not saying that the game's bad or anything, I might've been used to the old UI and kinda grew fond of it more.

You guys continue to amaze me with how in-depth and easy to play this game is. This is a completely wonderful change of pace compared to the last two games, with more customization and a whole different point of view as the player. There is a little bit of premium content but the stuff that's available for everyone is above and beyond what I've come to expect from a dungeon crawler game. This is the epitome of its genre. A well-deserved 5/5.

One of the best dungeon crawler games I have ever played. There is no grinding at all though, monsters scale to your level on the next floor, even when you switch campaigns. Loot is manageable, just need to take some time to learn how to do it quickly. I always find myself getting better and better equips with every fight. all in all 5/5 100% recommend.
