I had fun playing this game, the controls were a bit difficult to use, even with the help of the mouse. it needs a bit more "oomph" to keep whoever playing.
Part nine, wave two. :P

The controls are pretty bad indeed but as I played I got used to them. The problem is that this game is not fun enough for a person to play for long. 4/5

It's such a beautiful game. I'm rating it 4 because of the controls, really hard to manage them. Thanks for the game.

Cool game, very stylized. Yeah, the controls are pretty annoying. >_<''
Still, overall a good game, nice music, good balence. 4/5 (-1 for bad controls)

The controls are nonstandard and take some getting used to, but I didn't think they were annoying or in need of a fix. Once you get past the phase where you want it to handle like snake, it's smooth sailing.

Nice music, but the high speed of the dragon's cycling motion jars with the slow pace of the music and text transitioning. I'd recommend slowing the dragon's animation speed to at least half. Also, the dragon looks too Western - I'd expect something less green, and with more flowy bits like sails and tendrils.
As has been mentioned many times, the controls are annoying. I'd also like a much greater differentiation between dark and cleansed spirits, and a more significant alert when a spirit is cleansed by bouncing off your body. At first I was trying to eat them. It would also help to leave the dragon's mouth closed.

i have to agree. game concept and gameplay seem really cool, but the controls are frustrating enough that i gave up on it. i tried both mouse and keyboard, and neither method could i make the dragon do what i wanted it to do.

The game is really good, the graphics, music and gameplay are awesome, but the controls suck. It's mix of absolute and relative doesn't really work. Since Shen Long doesn't flip, I'd go for relative, it would work great.

Its a really nice concept and the art is beautiful. But it could do with a little more depth.
I think the problem with the controls is down to a conflict with what the player expects to happen. I notice that you can get a tighter turning circle if you push two buttons at once. However, if you are moving almost directly away from the direction you want, pushing two buttons means that they sometimes cancel each other out, so the dragon doesn't turn. (This depends on the exact geometry.)
I really like the sway the dragon has. Could you make it flip around so it isn't upside down if you are going left? I imagine it could do this very nicely with an extra twisting animation.

i second Vaetrus. controls are annoying.
still its great concept with beautiful graphics (well ghost could use some more complexity)

Not bad. though the controls need work
It would have been better with mouse rather then the current arrows set up. (or at least a 8way control)

I don't like the fact that it's navigation and standard oriented. I would rather the turning direction is oriented to the head of the dragon. So left is towards the left, not stage left.
