I revise my first impression; it's not all that bad. But the combat, weight, and craft system are seriously clunky, and there are other things that need improvements as well.

Could you add the option to reassign points? I'm a warrior but I'd like to be a mage, and and other people would probably want to be able to assign points too. + if you agree so they'll see. Thank you!

@gonard3, you find the angel tear just before the cyclops fight which is the second from last battle so u dont get the morning star until the end of the map

Definitely needs a storage space to be 5 star, also need to be able to sell pets and eggs as we don't need 500 pets. Also let pets evolve, (ie: baby blue beetle into blue beetle), maybe at same level. Like if you want the producers to see and make changes.

If you let the monster pets evolve, this would be the perfect game.
Like, after ten level of monster, evolve to something else. (AKA, Baby snake, to snake, and so on.) + So he see's this!

Minor issue, my player will lose control of his movement and continue to walk in one direction. I ended up walking into a wall for 10 minutes.

Excellent game but one improvement that would make it better is that the pets can evolve or two kinds of pets can be merged to make one powerful pet and we should also be able to hire soldiers to help us even further and maybe we can equip pets with items that boost strength,defence etc.Rate this comment good to keep this alive.

Needs a better map, and it could tell you when you walk into a new area a notification could pop up saying "New area discovered" or something.

I think that the game is great it just needs some refinement, the details that in my opinion would've made it epic would be: 1) Shortcuts for the different menus; 2) The possibility if a bank, locker or some place where you could storage items and materials; 3) You should be able to rearrange the order of your items in your backpack; 4) And if you already discovered a recipe you should be able to use it quickly through the recipe book.
Anyway it's a good game 4/5 in my opinion

change pet by hatching them (in stable) then clicking them when they are next to stable a menu will come up where you can choose to make active pet

I want to give some tips:-
1. To craft shank combine 1 iron ore with 1 hide.
2. To craft timber combine 3 woods with 3 woods.
3. To craft leather combine 3 hides with 3 hides.
4. To craft iron ingot combine 3 iron ores with 3 iron ores.
5. To craft plate combine 3 shells with 3 shells.
6. To craft nail bat combine 1 iron ingot with 1 timber.
7. To craft ninja stars combine 1 iron ore with 1 alkahest.
8. To craft small berry potion combine 1 empty bottle with 3 teras berries.
Ohh! my game is loaded.I will tell you other tips next time.

Good little game that is stable and reminds us of the good old Nintendo adventure games. Although, people say this is a rpg, it is an adventure game, no choices, just moving around and bashing monsters, just adventuring, no role-playing involved. Good game for Kongregate.

I really liked it at first, but after awhile the game starts getting super laggy. I was hoping it would correct itself, but now at level 20ish, it takes me 5minutes to move from one side of a small area to another. Additionally, I find it irritating that there is only a general map which doesn't particularly help me navigate from one area to another. I sort of wish that as I moved from area to area the areas would appear on the map in some way so I knew where I was going and where I'd already gone, etc. At any rate, I'd like to finish this game but it just doesn't seem worth it. 3/5

Guys, if you've crafted an item before you came across the quest, don't sweat about it. It will still be completed, just come talk to the Sigil 2 minutes or so later. It worked for me, so it should work for everyone else. Just a tip :). + so everyone knows and doesn't try to craft/waste materials on it again!

I think a great idea for a future castaway, is that you could have more than 1 pet with you at once. Possibly 2 or 3 pets at once? and I also agree with sandrine92, evolution of pets would be interesting. Also Maybe we could change the stats on our pets when they level. + if you agree!

i have a bug to report.when i throw a fireball at an enemy the fireball passes through the enemy without hitting it..can you please fix this bug?thumbs up so the developer can see it!

The pet system should be improved, it looks cool having them roam around the pen but I can't keep track of them and there really should be an evolution system to reward loyalty. Or at least bring back the sale of eggs.

I've been playing this game for about a week on and off now and I absolutely love it. It's just perfect in every regards in one..one that is an enormous problem. There's basically no directions, you have only the vaguest idea of what you're supposed to be doing, and there is no way of knowing where to known where what you're supposed to do even is. I've spent so many hours just wandering in the general area of where I think I'm supposed to be trying to get further. If there was some more help on where to go this would be one of the best online games ever. Even with this massive setback, it's still an amazing game.

tip the gila pet NOT BABY is a pretty good pet its alot better then alot of the other bugs and things if you dont want to train it you can leave in stable and lvl up (if u didnt know if you leave a pet in stable BEFORE u name it it will lvl up)

After about level 10 I had pretty much no need for money, (I found/forged whatever I needed), but I had about 35000 just sitting there by the end of the game. Perhaps a development could be unlocking stuff in the shop once you reach higher levels?

TIP: at the beginning, get all poison skills for miasma and only uprade intel. use miasma on big full maps with lots of creeps to lvl up. then get all thunder skills. with 1st thunder skill u can do 400dmg on bosses if u do a lot of intel increase. doing this allows u to finish the gmae easy. at the beginning just be sure to let your pet do the tanking. hope this helps! also for craft guide go on http://guidology.com/2011/05/03/castaway-2-crafting-guide/. vote + so everybody sees!!!

The best weapon in the whole game doesn't need a single forge - just grind some iron till you can make 5 iron globes, lob together with a wooden sword, and you have the razor sword - easily kills the end boss and anything in between - i didn't bother with any magic the whole way through - just physical skills

Glitch found: If having a green Loomi as a pet, it causes to make a clone of it. Not only that, but having a Loomi clone causes the game to have an extreme amounts of lag, rendering the gameplay unplayable. Press (+) to let them the developers know and fix it.

As if the crafting isn't slow enough as it forces u to do them one by one.. but its also BUGGY.. If u craft a large number of items in a row it sometimes bugs out and freezes up, meaning you have to reload the previous save and REDO ALL THE CRAFTING!! !$@!@#
