Some sugestions for game development. The game should have a defend the castle type of mission array there only the lev30 characters can participate whitch graduated from your school. Rightnow they just go to the void and leave you some honor then graduating, then it would be something interesting, as to see what they make in they lives past the school... ;)
Some "betrayal" missions should also be nice if you make a scholar too powerfull and he
turns against his comrades and school. I order to see, whether or not a scholar is too
powerfull, a moral meter should be implemented, what would rise acording to your honor.
While you can train higher characters with low morals, it should give small percentige chanse
that the diciple turns rogue just like with weapons improvement. - The higher the level of the
character, the grater the chance of improvement. What you think of that? =)

To ValarisWasTaken: its a special event, you can take that one down only with gunslingers and magilancers and such if you manage to warp via the shortcut keys into map areas there the "boss-diciple" cannot since it is a melee oponent. If you whack that character long enough you should optain the "abuse the apprentice" trait. I know it annoys me too that its there. Maybe its to make the game more challenging... :S

@valariswastaken, Yes, this is the apprentice. Occasionally he shows up on a quest, he is very strong. The only real option is to hide behind on of the lakes on the map and use your long range units to hit him until he dies.

Uh... I had this lvl 1 team and went to a hunt. The quests name was "save the crops from the kru kliis" (something like that). As I moved in the map another student appeared from nowhere and one-hitted all of my students and the mission failed. Is that supposed to be like this? I'm really confused o_o

For those that are having trouble, try and get a dragoon (Str and MAG), extremely tanky and has an amazing blocking ability. I had just my maxed grade Dragoon with a Gold Spear soloing a 4-star 'hungry wolves' mission. Pretty neat. Magilancer is pretty cool as well, the ability being MP acts as HP if you have any at all. Basically 'Mana Shield'.

OH NOOOOO last week and I realize I need to buy new ppl in order to graduate my current 4-person party. Bye-bye hard achievement.

important note about LP gain. In battle, although everyone gets the "shared LP" at the end, each individual student gets their own bonus LP for landing the finishing blow on an enemy. So if you have an unbalanced party, you might want to use the party stances such that your strong characters will weaken an enemy, then retreat so that your weak student can finish the enemy off.

Messed up my chances for hard badge on month nine. No more motivation to get the hard badge or to keep playing 3/5. Welp, onto the next game.

First, there's no mute option for sounds and music. Terrible if you like listening to youtube stuff while gaming. Also in combat, I've noticed too many times where only one of my characters is attacking the enemy and the others are standing by not doing anything.

Got the OCD Principal achievement for having the 8 students (Grade 30, Level 10) in order from left to right in the same order you see during the errand loading screen!

Finished hard badge with 2k more fame than needed, 5k gold and 4 lvl 30 fully upgraded students. Focused on 3+ star hunt quests with 1 high level and 3 low levels to upgrade for lots of learning points. Use terrain to your advantage! Only graduated "class on demand". Enrolled and graduated lvl 1 students for fame if needed instead of graduating my high levles. Did not select class for students unless they wanted to become "class of demand". Fun game, but no motivation to continue after hard badge. Would like to see other upgrade possibilities than student lvl and weapon. Tournaments were also over in 5 sec - a bit more tactic here would be cool.

Woot, Three Tries to get the First Year no Penalty's (I derped 1st and 2nd tries at month 11 twice) and finally got all Runes, Phew... time to go play game 2? +5 stars, great game

3 Star mission: Easy success, no casualties. 4 Star mission: Instantaneous death of every single student. Am I the only one sensing a bit of a difficulty spike here?

A good way to train your weak ranged units is to find a lake wall. Set the stance to idle, position them one by one close to the lake without them getting stuck over it, then pick a fast unit as a scout. Have it lure one enemy at a time close to the lake. The enemy will try to target your ranged units and get stuck, while they slowly kill it for some LP.
If you're having trouble with your weak units dying at the start of 3-4 star maps, run around the map until you find a spot with no enemies, spamming SHIFT the whole time so the other three units follow you instead of trying to fight.

Help complete a magic chart. The quest giver is terrorist... Well.. I can earn some fame and GP plus my students will get more experience. Why not. If I cause trouble that just means more quest to do later on.

The only thing that made me sad at this game was the fact I had to start over the whole game, because I didn't met the expectations for the hard badge. Could fullfill ALL requirements up to last month, and then got only 6717 of 6792 fame points. Took me quite a time to get here, too bad I have to restart again...

There are just two things that keep me from giving this a five. First, the pathfinding is horrible as enemies and allies constantly get stuck on lakes. The other are the quests themselves; how my characters gain exp feels rather lopsided as one character barely gets a level while another gets five levels easy based on who makes the final blow. Not to mention errands give much less reward than hunts. 4/5

This game...
Sure it looks nice and all, but is there really any developed strategy to it? I feel as though all I've input is student/mission selection and then simply moving around the map beating on poor innocent animals. If there is something beyond this, they certainly haven't grabbed my attention with this crap enough to get that far. If anyone can contend for the game, please do feel free to explain. 3:

@BLOODYRAIN10001 - There are in fact 3 mutes. M for music, S for sound effects, and V for voice. It's on the menu screen.

I like how I did 2 one star quests, and then only had four and five star quests where the enemies could literally kill the students in 2 hits.
