Please up this comment so kongregate can see this message: Please add badges like the first castle wars but dont have a badge where you have to defeat an X amount of players online cause its impossible when they leave in mid game... Thank You

The easy badge doesn't work for me. Even though I got the medium badge for completing the campaign, I don't get the badge for a single win ... ?? And Kongregate is not willing to give it to me, even with a screenshot with alle the requirements! What's wrong with this site? ...

the strategy to win the hard mode, (as I did, anyway) was not to attack the other castle, but to have all the good cards in my deck to grow up mine ( well... and some attack cards for when you can't play any builders, invoc brick or else cards).

My thoughts on hard mode:
Gee, I wish I could play a dang card. This IS a card game isn't it? Not a click buttons and get your butt handed to you game?

Firstly, how the hell do you ambush a castle?
Secondly, since when did sacrificing mean killing your enemy's units?
This comment basically goes to show that hard mode is really really annoying.

It won't allow me to play multiplayer anymore.
When I click "continue" it goes to a black screen as opposed to the correct, "Sign in" screen. :/

Disregard my last comment... For some reason, after 10 wins I got my badge... Still strange though... Thank god I don't have to submit an error report on this issue.

Overall great but I really, really, really HATE the sacrifice cards. It's far too easy for the computer to just cripple you with them.

Really not all that great of a game. One thing that annoyed me a lot is when I was on the hard campaign some of the oppenents had enough resources to call a dragon out in the first turn which kills me in one turn. Not fair at all.

That highest rated comment.....Nah I won't even bother.
Anyways, great sequel to a great game. I enjoyed the little animations too :D 4/5

This has to be one of the easiest hard badges on Kong. I just filled my deck up with either 100% build cards or 100% attack cards and tore through the lands.

Yes, make it so when the opponent leaves, it counts as a win towards you. But make it so it only counts as a win if the game have lasted 5 mins or more. Or else people would get their friend to challenge them all the time, then just leave.

Great game 5/5. Best game i like so far. Game Requires sense and patience to set up deck and choose cards carefully. + if u agree

This is how I got the hard badge.... Mostly all I used was Magic weapons, Ambush, and Wain... I made the maximum for each one- 5 cards. Then I tried to get as many as I could from the beginning of the round. Then I waited until my magic was up then I played the magic weapons (Which doubles damage)... Then play the Ambush card. And If the computer's castle hasn't been knocked out yet, go searching for the Wain to win.

Beyond all reasons, I gave this 4stars. It's awesome & all. but then it makes you aggravted making you yell to your computer "COME ON LET ME WIN ALREADY!". I don't have a problem with that, I do it all the time, but just, let there be a hint or some 'cheats' on how to win. aha!

I used a pure building deck: 2 archer, 3 thief, 3 recruit, 5 guards, 5 mage, 5 pixies, 5 magic wall, 5 add crystals, 5 add bricks, 2 all crystals, 5 builder, 2 tower, 5 tavern, 4 babylon, 1 school, 3 fence, 3 all bricks, 5 large wall, 5 reverse, 2 of whatever. The point is to build a tower so quickly that the computer does not have its late-game advantage because you should win by then. I used this deck to win 4 hard campaign missions relatively quickly.
A side note: Since it is not skewed at the start, multiplayer games can be won quickly if you just focus on killing the other player. People are so concerned with adding in new mages and recruits that they are weak early in the game. The standard deck works well.

wow. like two million people commented on castle wars 1 that quits should count as losses, and you didn't agree. therefore, i cannot give anything above 1/5 for not listening to people's feedback AT ALL.

Found a bug. I was playing against the A.I., was on the "Medium" campaign and now none of my cards are showing face up so there's nothing for me to click on, but the game's waiting for me to move anyway. =/ Going to have to reset.

Im sorry, but i really tried to enjoy this game. I did for a while, but when it got to the hard levels, i get 6-8 turns in and someone always pulls out a trojan horse and that ends it all, since i wasn't able to upgrade my castle due to the immense lack of resources. It's just incredibly lucky if you win, and there is really no skill involved, except maybe a few experienced decisions. but thats all. its not fun when you can't do anything and you suddenly die.

Easy win on every hard level. Hand must have +8 weapons, Trojan Horse, Magic weapon, +8 Crystals. Just restart if you don't have that in your hand. If you have most of them try playing it out. All you play is those 3 cards and they deal 60 damage to opponents castle. Some of them you only need +8 weapons and a trojan horse to beat castles with 30 starting hp.

Rounds take forever and you usually end up losing after half an hour. Along with the difficult interface, this game gives me a headache.

Idk why people are complaining so much, I had no problem accumulating 5 wins - never got quit on or asked to draw. Just go to the most populated room and scroll to the very bottom for guests and challenge them. They're generally both unskilled and unfamiliar with the game interface.

Okay...I've really had it trying to beat hard. Computer starts with more resources and builders /and/ has sacrifice and curse cards. One time, I got hit with a dragon on turn two and instantly lost. I play trading card games in real life and this is a joke. There's a reason real trading card games don't do stunts like this; it's completely unbalanced. The one time I actually had enough wall to stay alive...a trojan horse hit the table and I did instantly.

For hard mode: There are lot of different ideas that are getting upvoted at random times. A good tip is that "a jack of all trades is a master of none." Look to minimize your deck and completely focus one way of winning. Maybe just one resource? Maybe pure direct damage? Maybe just using castle damage? Maybe just use growth? I've taken all direct damage out and started winning using castle growth which an unpopular, but still doable, method of winning.
Point is; Orient your hard decks towards something. Don't create a deck with "multiple ways to win" because it just loose multiple ways instead.

The interface is a bit cumbersome. Can't you just put info buttons over each card so you can look at one card at a time, rather than having to go to a separate menu, click on a card, exit from the card, and exit the menu?
