Under rating threshold (show) Here's a few tips for the last enemy on hard: Remove all damage cards except for trojan horse, wain, ambush, and archer. Put all of those at 5 except archer, which can be 3 or 4. He'll have a huge wall after a few turns, so the direct damage cards will be pointless, but keep archer in to get rid of magic shields. Recruit, mage, and builder, aand all of the add material cards should be at 5. I'd advise having all remove material cards set at 0 since he usually has a huge stockpile anyways. Have 4 or 5 magic weapons cards in for obvious reasons. The rest of the stuff is up to you, though I'd advise not having too many building cards (despite the fact that I ended up winning by getting to 100 my first time, but that was because I hadn't set up my cards as much as I would've liked to.) Start by focusing on getting production up, using the add material cards to pay for production cards. Then try to use trojan horse with magic weapons on him, and finish him off with the other attack cards.

Under rating threshold (show) Not as much fun as the last one... finished a campaign and just can't find the motivation to bother with the rest. Especially not multiplayer, with the rather brainless way an opponent can leave the game without you being awarded a win.

Under rating threshold (show) Wow!!!!!! The hard badge is a frickin JOKE. Amazing how the computer gets all the right cards at all the right times. I love the trojan horse and the sacrifice a builder to kill 2 builders cards. Other than that the game is alright!

Under rating threshold (show) I would love to give this game a higher rating if not for two fatal flaws. Multiplayer, as many others have said, when an opponent quits, it NEEDS to count as a loss, or it is pointless to play. Or at very least, a win for the player who stuck it out. The cards 'kill x' are stupid and slow the game down unnecessarily. It just feels like a cheap tactic that the AI loves to use as often as possible. Drags matches out far too long and sucks the fun out. 2/5

Under rating threshold (show) Badges for this game are a joke. I have the hard badge complete, but it won't get awarded. And multiplayer badge is completely inane. When opponents can flat out disconnect to avoid a loss, the badge is that much more difficult.

Under rating threshold (show) The hard mode distantly reminds me of The Necronomicon. At times, the AI/you can one-shot the opponent so that the other gets basically no chance and vice versa. Some levels can be completed in a matter of turns with the right cards. Moreover, the sacrifice cards are a joke. Sometimes the enemy uses them although you had no more than one opposing labourer, shooting itself in the foot. A constant use of them also eventually makes you have to discard every other turn. Despite those flaws, the game was still pretty fun, and since multiplayer is its main focus, who cares really ;)

Under rating threshold (show) I'm wondering why here I'm constantly resetting my game until the opponent does NOT one-hit kill me with a dragon on his FIRST turn. There is no possible card to negate this that does not screw up the rest of the play. I can do +15 castle, but then I'm stuck with 3 bricks and 1 builder that doesn't get me anywhere. The game really looks good, but implementing a level that consists of rolling a dice until you get 6 simply doesn't make sense.

Under rating threshold (show) So, on playing through the game a bit, I soon got into it and I honestly think, it's a big improvement to the original. However, one thing that I think needs changing. When I view my decks and click on the ? button, I don't get anything apart from that this card has to be unlocked, when I already have it. This is happening to all my cards.

Under rating threshold (show) I tryed to connect to Multiplayer mode via playing as a guest and it still claims to be trying to "connect" me after about 3 or 4 minutes. I had similar problems with the original, I think the server needs to be improved.

Under rating threshold (show) OK I'm at the point where I've completed one campaign (easy). Suggestions so far: 1) As I said before, enable "card info" on the card the opponent has just played, 2) Enable mouseover details on yourself on the campaign map, not just the enemies (I mean after you've picked your tribe), 3) As others have said, use a different colour for builders/mages/warriors than for resources. 4) In multiplayer, make each player see *himself* as the one with the blue flag.

Under rating threshold (show) Best strategy for the hard campaign is defense.Remove all cards that do damage and replace them with cards that build the castle and wall.When your castle reaches 100 you'll win.So simply out-build the computer.The best offense is a good defense as they say.Or was it the other way around? :)
