I think the reason morkulev doesn't want to give people a win if the opponent quits is because he might not be able to detect when someone disconnects from the net by accident or by choice. It would be unfair to award a win to someone who discconnects by accident if they were not in a losing position. All he can do is tell players what another player's reputation (see the white flags) is as far as quitting is concerned and let you decide if you want to play them based on their past (alleged) indiscretions.

The deepest circle of hell is reserved for betrayers, mutineers, and now also the AIs that always seem to have the producer-killing cards whenever it's most inconvenient for you.

You can never win in multiplayer because people bail. You can never win in single player because the computer freezes on its turn half the time when it knows it's lost. You can never win in hard mode because half the time the computer instakills you. What a ridiculous game, to be entirely based on luck.

"Sir, we can send in a platoon and, at a push, finish off their castle once and for all!" "NO, i want you destroy that 1ft wall first, somebody could trip on that!"

While this looks better and has campaign, it's not as playable, therefore, not as fun.
The newly added cards are brutaly unfair on harder levels where the comp has far superior resources. I tweaked my deck quite alot and while I can beat the hard levels it is dependant on a lucky draw from the deck. I had to quit and restart the level till I got the cards I wanted and even then the computer often got lucky and took me down with one card, Curse, Trojan, early Theft.
It's easier to win on defence, hitting the 100 mark. But thats not as fun as crushing your foes castle, is it?
Half way through hard I've given up and decided to rant instead. Long awaited let down that can be easily adjusted to be a 5/5 for me, for now it's a charitable 3/5.

2 turns from winning hardmode, and my computer has discarded all of its cards, and no longer will make take its turn.
Even the damn computer quiting doesn't give you a win! MY GOD!

I don't usually comment on games, but this is one is horrifically unbalanced on hard. Based entirely on luck. To win you need a long-term strategy that can be entirely thwarted in one turn by the enemy. Very hard to build up resources. Also, the creator doesn't seem to care to address the problems with multiplayer drop-outs. Hard to rate this above a 2 as it has stepped backwards from the first game in all but graphics.

I haven't played this in a long time, so I wanted to try again. 5 turns in on the FIRST MATCH the CPU uses a dragon. GG

hard mostly depends on a good start, load you deck with production type cards and higher cost cards for a sure win. include a few low cost cards to attack magic barrier

Here's the deck I used to go 5-0 in multiplayer and earn the badge.
Weapons: 5 Ambush 3 Thief 5 Recruit 4 Guard
Crystals: 5 Mage 5 Pixies 5 Magic Wall 2 Magic Defense 3 Magic Weapons
Bricks: 5 Builder 2 Tower 5 Tavern 2 House 5 Babylon 2 Wall 5 School 3 Fence 2 Wain 5 All Bricks 2 Large Wall
The purpose of this deck is to reach 100 height. Always play the recruit/mage/builder cards when you can. Use the Ambush/Magic Weapons combo to do 30 damage directly to the enemy castle. If the enemy uses Magic Defense, use Wain to pop it. After you get one School, discard the rest. Playing more than one is overkill. Don't be afraid of discarding, it's your friend! Essentially, discarding shrinks your deck and allows you to use your more powerful cards earlier. Economy is the winning factor. Always try to get your Recruit/Mage/Builder cards out first. They make a huge difference later on in the match.

just about to win the final level on the hard campaign one card away and the computer wont play a card... even the computer is a quitter!

I finally completed Hard Campaign!!!
It only took me 50 tries, extra luck, 5 hours and fail a date with my girfriend... but is already completed!!

The cards that suck the most are the sacrifice cards. They *really* string out a game. I mean, seriously. this game is not meant to last 20 minutes per match. That sucks hardcore.

In a game where the multiplayer can be easily manipulated so that the loser doesnt actually have to lose, there should be no multiplayer badges present. Or at least one that works.

I do truly enjoy pummelling my oppenents to a pulp. However, I do so politely, and I do not quit when I am one turn from losing. Let's not be losers, folks.

If you experience trouble with the game could you please post what operating system you're using, what web browser and what version of flash player you got ?

So I'm doing well, I actually think I have a chance of winning, and then the enemy uses Sacrifice Builder, Sacrifice Recruit, Sacrifice Mage, and Curse, one right after the other. Hard mode gives an unfair advantage to the opponent, but thats how most strategy games work on harder difficulties: the enemy has more power, but you've got a brain, so you can beat him. This game, however, makes sure the battles are completely luck-based. Got a wall? The enemy uses a trojan horse. Got good resources? The enemy annihilates your builders, mages, and recruits. Needing the right strategy and a bit of luck is one thing; having to redo a level 30+ times because there is no possible strategy and it is all luck-based is something else entirely.

Ahh, the game that brought me to Kongregate and where I earned my first badge :') A simple turn-based card game but yet so fun to play. The graphics fit the simplistic game gameplay really well.

Someone should add a tag to this game "luck based". There is not much skill in playing this, it's literally just a glorified RNG.

What the hell, this game should have a thing when the other person leaves you automatically win!
its Dumb how they leave!

easy is really fun, but medium and hard mode verge on, if not go into, the realm of frustrating, slightly chory activity. I agree with everyone else on multiplayer, combat loggers are a massive issue. The concept and cards are cool, but there are just some difficulty and design flaws that have to be fixed. 3/5
