Idea - The idea behind the game is great. It truly has some awesome potential.
Gameplay - Simply boring. This games gets amazingly repetative that I was done playing after only a couple levels. There are no bosses, no final goals, it just isn't fun after you finish upgrading your ship.
Extras - There were none. There should be tools for drawing ones ship, such as fill and straight line. I agree with Turagalover - everything looks like an amoeba. Also, you ought to be able to move the cannons around. A really cool extra would be multiplayer (though I know this is extremely hard to implement). And the cheat key ("y") just makes the game not worth playing at all.

I would appreciate a straight line tool and a boundary line, it seems that I die is the enemies get close but don't yet make contact. 4/5, with fixes 5/5

2/5. Initially creative. Repititous gameplay, nothing more than a generic shooter with new paint.

Great game, but it needs tools like straight lines so you can actually make a ship that doesn't look like some sort of amoeba. 5/5 :D

With some improvements this game easily will get a higher rating.

yeah, me again. You have a little thing labeled 'scale size' on the side, I just realized that it means, 'your ship will scale to this size'

right, a few more comments: Upgrading the shield, does it do anything? I couldn't figure it out. There should be something on the screen to say how many lives you have left while you're playing, not just on the lose life screen. After adding my second extra cannon, I randomly shrunk down to teeny tiny size, did I click something by accident? Since you can draw things in mid-play, they should do something, perhaps walls?

this game gets huge points for the ability to draw your ship, and your cannons, and ect... But, the ship turns like a fish, and needs to be able to travel backwards. I'd love this game even more if it had a storyline with it too. Great job, and I expect big things!

There is no good reason to buy Rate of Fire up. You can shoot as fast as you can press space bar. (Yes, you could hold down the space bar, and it would help there, but why waste the money?) Not a bad game, but it needs to be made more challenging. 3/5

This was fun, and a very neat idea. However, there are a few things I'd like to see changed though, like Zylvin mentioned, the erase when adding a weapon should only erase the new stuff you have drawn, not the ship. Also would be good to indicate the directions weapons will fire. I drew a fish and hat bullets flying from his back. When I added a weapon, it looked like it would fire up and forwards, so I added a baseball cap (as you do) but it fired straight up again. You should also be able to save your ship design. After I died, my fish ship was gone forever :(

Nice concept (yes I drew something dirty) but expand on the gameplay a bit. Like avallozzi said, start with less money. Have more choice in upgrades etc.. Basically fill it out a bit.

its quite dull... needs more bosses, powerups and enemies. also, longer levels with spawnig enemies would be more fun!
The concept IS very creatve though
