This reminds me of old Atari 2600 era games where there were a whole bunch of slightly different game modes for the same game (there was a MODE button on the console.) Also reminds me of the old snake game Snafu for Intellivision. Well done!

I would like the dev high score to be visible when you die so you know what you're aiming for :P i keep forgetting and having to back out to the select screen :P

it would be nice to have a ''beat developers score'' sign in game... on more than one occasion i stopped my game to see what your score was :)

I would add the Dev Score on screen while playing, also colour the ones you have beat on the menu.
All in all, great game, I loved how the descriptions matched the gameplays.

Wow... 20 games in well 1. I love snake and am glad I found this. It's wierd that a game on kngregate called "Classic Snake Game" has a higher rating than this... 8/10

Well it took me a while to get to the last unlock. I thought I would go for the hard badge here but after seeing the developers score and the difficulty level, ...... i'm going to say forget it!

The "Come back another day" unlock is such Total Fail that I want to see the hard badge become badge-of-the-day some time just so I can watch the shitstorm of thousands of people screaming that the badge-of-day is literally IMPOSSIBLE to get.

I don't know what's more impressive about netgrind; the way he created 28 versions of snake, or the fact I can't beat any of his scores.

EASY! Medium Badge guide:
1. Play any mode and press P and then ESC to quit to unlock trouser
2. Play trouser snake mode and press DOWN and RIGHT quickly before you hit youself
3. Profit

@Darkus982 Different modes are easier/harder than each other? That's probably why the dev highs fluctuate so much. :)

The asp dev score is so hard to beat how the heck do you get 51 on asp and only a 52 on krait. I think the dev is a luck box.

can someone say to me what the requirement was for unlocking solid snake? I didn't get the badge and don't want to bother sending in a report if I can try to "unlock" it again.

I was really annoyed with the Barmese unlock having to wait almost 24 hours to get the badges done. Till the next day it just dawned on me that I could have just change the computer's clock date. *facepalm*

LOL. I like your creative descriptions of the snakes, but just a heads up to everyone else, most of them shouldn't be taken literally. Anyhow, great game, 5/5 and favorited.

You took a classic game that gets repetitive after ..I don't know, ONE play, and gave it a fun and creative reboot. With a name like Snakes on a Cartesian Plane I thought it would be a puzzle platformer, but I was wrong (as always, lol) ... It takes a lot of ingenuity to come up with different ways to play the same game, and I applaud you good sir (or ma'am!) . Also, you gave us a score to beat, as well as personal best. Normally I don't try too hard to strive to get a huge personal best, but with the developer's score to compare, it makes me want to play more and beat you! >:D 4/5!
