Under rating threshold (show) Great game! I hope you come out with a Rogue soul 3, or let me know if you have! I'm a big fan of runner games, so this is my style. One request I have, is that you add a custom character thing. Not like what you have now, but instead, where with a certain percentage of loots, you can change any colors on the character. I think that would surely be a crowd pleaser.

Also, I like the current upgrade system, where you can unlock visual upgrades only, but not buy stuff to help you in-game, since this means you can finish the game as quickly or as slowly as your own skill lets you, and you don't have to grind grind grind for those upgrades you can't live without. However, I agree it would be nice to have stuff you could buy with the loot or achievements that's more than visual upgrades for your avatar. Maybe unlock additional content like different areas or locations within existing levels (new pieces that would be included in the random generation process); these could make the initial areas harder while also giving you more reward, and would also fix the problem with experienced players being bored of grinding through the first levels every time they restart. I'd also base these unlocks on achievements rather than loot since the game would still be skill-based and not grind-based.

Under rating threshold (show) I find too much of the "skill" to this game is memorizing the different possible areas. After a few zones, the character is just too slow to get where you need him if you don't know that in advance.

Under rating threshold (show) A sugestion to the developer for keeping track of items: you can add visual effects to the character to denote at least one of that item is in your inventory: for daggers a dagger in your belt or your hand, for wings a halo on your head or a wisp following you, for armor its allready done, for parachute a backpack or a cape.

Under rating threshold (show) Hail SoulGame team! Love the game! The first time I played, I was surprised by the "end scenes" lol great detail =) as a lot of other players, the only thing that really gets a little frustrating is the start at level 1 when all the "continues" are used. The suggestion I leave is a quite simple one (to my understanding): as all of the classic games taught us, we could gain "continues" for a certain amount of points or enemies killed or some other parameters. These achievements should be dificult to stimulate the players to get them with the "continue" bonus reward. For example, when the 5000gold is achieved, you gain 1 continue. What do you think? Thanx aand keep up the good work SoulGame Team! ^^

Thanks for your nice comments. I really understand that it could be frustrating to always restart from the beginning (by the way I would suggest to quite the game and come back later to give it another try) but the current game would not work with more continues, because it would means longer runs. Under rating threshold (show) If there's to be a shop or an "upgrades" type thing, I'd prefer that it only upgraded certain items and that, at some point further down the (literal) road in the game, the upgrades would be required or else an obstacle will be so obscenely hard it's worth the effort to just spend the scrap on that. However, unlike a majority of people and their damned "upgrades", I rather like that you, as a PLAYER, have to get better at the game rather than buy upgrades until the game plays itself for you. To me, it gives the game a higher sense of progression each time you hit a new level and go "Hell yeah! I'm getting even BETTER at this!"

Under rating threshold (show) Just as a warning to all noobs: THIS IS A PERMANENT DEATH GAME! Do not post random crap about "randomly losing progress". There is no save feature UNLESS you respawn at the level's beginning. So, I repeat: Do not make posts about "randomly losing progress". Most people are used to save systems, so I expect no one will heed this. I suggest posting positive things, even if they're minor things, like getting a Loot item. To the Devs: Great game! The permanent death system hooks in people, and the Loot Room gives them a sense of accomplishment even if they die after a good run. I rated 5/5, keep up the good work, SoulGame!

Under rating threshold (show) This game is very fun and well made, but I find it very annoying to be killed by a captain who jolts at you from off the screen. Especially if he is at the end of a large gap, or on top of a difficult to reach rooftop.

Under rating threshold (show) To those that can't double jump (@Corloc): The double jump is not an innate ability, but a power up, which means: You can't double jump unless you have feathers. How do you get feathers? By grabbing flowers and given them to Souly, the girl.

Under rating threshold (show) Some ideas for sequel: As the greatest thief in town, you are captured for your fighting and robbing capabilities to aid the war going between your city and the opposing one. Basically you are recruited in the army. Same as always except you can level up in army rank. You rob the other city of their gold, and must meet a certain amount of gold to win the game. New features: Ranks, other recruits to aid you, longer storyline, levels, Day/night feature, Different scenery, and maybe, just maybe, upgrades. There are also Archer captains, who shoot 3 arrows instead of 1, Lancers with huge spears to hit you from long range, and very rare kamikazes who run into you, killing you with armor or not. However, I think the enemies should get a different outfit to mark them as "the enemy." Please rate + to let the developer see!

Under rating threshold (show) DOUBLE JUMP INFO; double jump isn't glitching or broken. I realized the wings up in the bar that tells how many parachutes and daggers you have is how many double jumps you have. That's right it's on purpose and apparently, limited in amount of times you can do just like daggers/parachutes. Hey SoulGame (dev.), here's the thing that everyone will agree about and almost everyone will agree needs to be changed: make double jump a natural / unlimited thing. Trust me. ;) People will love it even better; in fact, it makes for a lot of the frustration in this particular game. So, if it's possible to update Rogue Soul 1, on behalf of everyone who plays and loves the game, please make double jump natural and unlimited. Besides, it doesn't make you overpowered or anything that will take the fun out of it. Thx

Under rating threshold (show) Hey guys, i understand that the people who have the top comments deserved them at the time, but shouldn't those comments not be up there anymore? The problems they address are all fixed, and if we want SoulGame to hear any more of our suggestions we have to have NEW top comments. So the only way to do that really is to down vote the current top comments. I'm not saying they deserve to not be up there, but they no longer serve a purpose sadly and I'm sure we all have many more constructive advice to give to this game :).
