This is a fantastic game. I love turn-based tactics games anyway, but you've done a great job by combining that genre with RPG skill trees. I hope to see more games in the future, possibly with a more immersive storyline and more varied objectives.
(Also, I love the different weapons and their effects - flamethrower/shotgun - very nice touch.

I really like that the game alerts you to potential mistakes without shoving them in your face. I love well designed and easy to control tactical games :D

Loved the game all the way to the impossible badge. lots of tactics needed for that impossible badge :D but I got there in the end 5/5 :D

I decided to look at the question mark where it gave me some advice for level 5. It told me to send Taylor to the switch to unlock the door alone. Uhhh no, I've seen enough alien themed horror movies to know that it's always a f*cking stupid idea to go off alone.

Wow. I am impressed, to say the least. On mission 5, I was surprised to find myself feeling for my soldiers and trying to keep them all alive, even if it meant using up all of my ammo and keeping almost everyone on on sentry mode until they were close enough to the terminal to sprint their way inside. Woods ran away from the fight, screaming encouraging things as he went. He then hid in a corner because he was totally defenseless.

Storm Aligator: how about a fast, turn by turn replay at the end of the mission so that you can see all of the action from begining to end? It would be cool to see what was done in near real time. I'm loving the game so far! 5/5

so this colony has had no life signs for over 6 weeks... yet, somehow a scientist locks himself away in a room with provisions for a few days... and survives! ... we all know he survived to tell the tale of our epic super soldiers lol! GREAT GAME!!!! its really fun

what does "hard mode victory" for a ruby medal mean? how do I configure difficulty levels? (finished level 2 in 5 turns taking 0 damage, still only getting a gold)

This is a very good game. I hope to see an even larger-scale one, perhaps on the level of the original X-COM games. Mega kudos to the developers. I hope Kongregate adds badges.

I really like how the developer of this game listens to the players. Yesterday I complained about it saying "clips" instead og "magazines" and he added it.

Maybe change the name of pierce's weapons from bomb to grenade? before I used them, I thought they had to be placed adjacent to him, so I ignored them for a long time. Bomb makes me assume "place adjacent", whereas everyone knows grenades are easily ranged. I like Pierce a lot more now I can see him as "You stuck Alien" guy ^.^

After the impossible badge I came back to the turorial with 78 skillpoints racked up, and this time I completely PWN3D the level for 38 turns :)

And i thought that i am used to this kind of games. It was pretty intense, it is well-planned, and it is a rare game when every skill you can get is actually useful. 5/5

I really like the feel of this game and how each character has a unique tree. The alert system I think is done well and it amps up the intensity as one guy is slowing fighting his way to the exit and the others are moving toward objectives. Very well done. I hope to see more!

I like that losing troopers has no real consequences other than making the current mission harder. I completed mission 10 once with Farro as the only survivor.

I've gotta say, I've been a member of Kongregate for about 3 years, and this is definitely in my top 5 of all games I've seen here! Clever gameplay, smooth controls, infinite replayability. Plus, I'm a sucker for strategy games. Fantastic job!

I don't much care for having to tell supposedly trained soldiers in a combat situation that its probably a good idea to reload constantly. Other than that it's fine.

Wow, what a great game. It's hard to find turn based strategy games these days, but this one nails it. 5/5, but seriously. Get rid of the pick things up as an action. Step over them and collect them automatically.

Besides the unpredictability of aliens spawning that makes getting medals way more reliant on luck than it should be, I loved the game. The immersiveness is awesome, and the Invasion ambient piece by Claudio Pelissero is now one of my new favorites! Great job on paying attention to detail, especially the turn ending reminders that saves a lot of time from checking each unit.
