Another suggestion. Swing areas should have low number of hit points. Dedicated areas (like the west coast, north east, and the great plains) should have high numbers of hit points.

I agree with greg. This game is really amazing. However, it is also extremely glitchy. It's gotten to the point where I have to refresh at least half the time because it glitches out. The most frequent is when I start a game it shows Obama for both players with the staffers flashing through all four choices. Also, the back button goes to a kongregate page not found page within the game box. Occasionally I've been unable to select which type of election I would like to have and have also timed out while waiting for someone to play against. But even with these bugs, I keep playing and keep refreshing :P Great game.

even in singleplayer theres no go back option, or quit option, and once you theres no way to go back to the main menu when picking a character

This reinforces a narrow political stereotype. For shame, some of us are working our ass off and fighting hard (here) to dispel the squelching of dissenting views. Crap like this only reinforces to the lazy and uninformed that they only have certain choices.
Besides, Gravel, Kucinich and Paul can be done just as comically. Political satire is one thing but not mockery. True Democracy is serious stuff.
But it is a really good RTS. Fun and surely badgeworthy. Good replay value. 4/5.
Do your homework next time. :-)

Good Gameplay...AI not good at all. John Edwards lost with 1.3 million in his coffers and no staff. I guess he could have been saving up for a haircut...Sorry.

y'know, with all these people bithin' about the candidates...
I DEMAND STEPHEN T. COLBERT.
and he did actually get a small rank in the polls before the SC democrats rejected him.

liked the idea a lot, but the game was not dynamic enough... and to unlock the best powers you need to conquer a lot of areas. Love the graphics though: 3 stars!

TheGraphite: Lighten up, Francis. The game isn't really political (no matter how much the Ron Paul loonies wish it was). The designer picked the three leaders in the polls from each side. Could we please skip the mindless partisanship here? Who did you think he'd put in there? Huckabee versus Kucinich? Most people have never heard of those guys.

Oh lovely, we get three relatively liberal, pro-abortion candidates on the Republican side, to choose from? Hmmmm..... I very suddenly lost all interest in this game. How disappointing. 2/5 just cuz the graphics are cute. Thanks for alienating almost half the audience with the 3 worst possible "conservative" choices. LOL

When an area is attacked, it says down the bottom "bob's hatchet man attacked no name for 15 damage" or whatever it is, the point is that it says no name instead of SouthEast or something.

Interesting game, especially for the election. But very American, taught me somethings though. However, I think it could get boring and repetitive. Still a cool game, 4/5
