getting the second med. badge: first, complete the first two levels (preferably the tutorial and 15-wave one), then by the two necromancer upgrades (second ones on the top right). go to the first level, buy three fire mages, and put them in the three spots closest to the entrance. as soon as possible, randomly upgrade each one once, then save up money. toward the end, you should have enough for a necromancer- buy one and win. repeat the level, using the same strategy. then, in skills, reset skill points and buy the two paladin upgrades (last ones on the top right), then do the exact same thing you did with the necromancers. afterwards, just buy five energy mages on the first level, and you won the badge!

to unlock advance units u have to upgrade the skill of that advance unit. the upper right of the skill screen shows that u have to learn them so the guild will allow access to their advance units

I haven't played the sequels yet and maybe such a feature was added, but I think an "esteemed time" when you choose a mission would help. Too many tims I had to quit a mission because I had to go out.

its kinda weird. i remember having played the game months ago without lag. now the game freezes for about 0.2 seconds every time an enemy dies... but only then. maybe a bug?

To the people who lag on each death: right-click, go to settings, and increase the amount of flash space to unlimited. This should fix it. Sorry for not mentioning this sooner. Also, do give it some leeway. This is a very old TD game. It was probably made before fast-forward coding was discovered.

I used an external program to speed up the game 3x, and it still took me over a half hour to beat the third level of the game. Goddamn.

Like the game / series, but no preview of mob resistances = fail. I mean you have absolutely no idea what's coming so have fun wasting 15 minutes or more on a stage only to have a late wave that happily skips through your defenses unharmed. I suppose the idea is to have to play each stage more than once, but with no speed up button that's pretty painful.

If you're only playing for the Badge of the Day, then do the Shoreview Inn map. Add a single green mage to the centermost spot closest to the entrance/exit. Don't freak out, he can handle the first waves by himself. Upgrade Specialist as soon as he glows to get poison. Repeat for the next wave or two. By the second wave, you get 62 kills with a single unit.

this game is alright, but if your a TD fan look elsewhere as there are a lot of better options.
the lack of a speed button is annoying, you cant sell units, it gets repetitive fast, the difficulty curve varies to much.
it seems like the creator tried to do to much in this game and ended up screwing it all up.

Great Game! Last level took me forever to finish but it was worth it. :D And the reason why this game doesn't have a speed up button is because it was the first game of the series people, the newer versions have it. XD 5 out of 5 stars for sure!

If you love tower defense games .... don't even bother with this one ... it takes several hours to beat a map and even though your strategy is amazing, you will get really irritated.

This game is a pleasure to enjoy. And those who've complained about speed... There is a Protector IV. Still 5/5 This is where it started.

i found that you can semi fast forward by right clicking on the game and while the options window was open it went fast for some reason anyone know if this is a bug or what?
