This is one of the best games I've played. It made my childhood when I was about 8, now I'm glad to see it's still growing.

This game is awesome, since 3 years i´m coming here on a daily basis to play.
Even though i play it differently (only 2 mortars, 5 blasters, and these speedthings, no other buildings, and of course without moving the base, to cover everything)
I love looking at your comments to ensure myself that i´m not the only addicted!
have fun!

Still playing this in 2017. I played all of them. Creeper world 3 :Arc ethernal and this one really are my favorite because they're the ones who makes you think the more.
Again thank you for thoses pieces of arts

6/19 - 4:07 same layout, just better packet type management. 4 screenshots from the end: http://imgur.com/a/SSKiQ immediately flooded after totems loaded. only 1 sortie of the drone (then deactivated). you'll need some magic skills to get sub 4 :)

It was very very difficult. The whole setup had to be perfectly timed... one second longer and the collector network would have been destroyed. http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=rauk48&s=5#.UrRQSrRW-3Y

For 9/23, fly Odin City round to collect the lower, then middle upgrades, and park on the big raised area at the upper right. Easy from there - unless you're playing without moving the city (as I know some do - if so, ignore this useless comment!)

Man todays one is tough. any tips for the start position? I tried top left and not enough room, no SAMS so got wiped also. So i just keep flyin Odin?

@stotty652 wow, really? I never willingly do tutorials in a game unless it's some complicated RTS (like homeworld). But this game is pretty straightforward. after a few minutes of experimentation you should figure out what everything does. And as to the spores, all you needed was a healthy wall of SAMs, the spores wouldn't make it halfway to the nearest reactor.

@chilese Pretty sure that's Targaryen's alt account. He didn't start posting until the other stopped, has a low level account and posts in the exact same way. He also 'thanked' Targaryen for his stolen screenshot, even after I pointed out it was literally copied from the a comment before him.

@chilese Thanks! @iMiPi Nope, 9:47. Good deal on 9:40!! I'm not going to try to beat that! May 28 is one of those maps that you wish you could save. It's a thinking challenge even with just brute forcing it, and you can learn some really effective advanced strategies by playing it again and again, especially if you can know what some of the best achievable times are to shoot for. The developer should let people rate each map (if he has a daily map with CW3 I suppose), and the especially high scoring ones should be saved as challenge maps or something.

This game reminds me of my days killing mold in New York that was left over from Hurricane Sandy. The creeper is the mold, and the played is the cleaner, and the battle is the process of spraying the wood with thyme, sanding it, respraying it, and wiping it down. And tada! It's mold free enough to rebuild ^^

Is it just me, or is anyone else sad to see the whole network power down after spending all that time building it up? (Actually, I think it'd be cool to see everything overrun after the ship leaves.)

Part of why this isn't as awesome as the original or user levels is because these are extraordinarily vanilla--there's totems, a few elevations, and that's it. There isn't a specific challenge or gimmick that's being built upon; it's just a hilly layout. If you could modify your generator to make not just maps but also a randomly selected scenario--like 'avalanche' type levels where the creeper is above you, or a 'levy' type scenario where there are a series of banks and rapidly-filling valleys between you and the objective, or an 'isolation' level where there are islands of buildable terrain, separated by unbuildable sharp inclines.

One day, We will build a way for Odin City to leave behind a generator, so that when it teleports, the blasters will remain powered by the massive amounts of collectors and other equipment we left behind. We will eventually rescue all the planets from the creeper!

If there is not enough challenge for you in this game, set yourself a time goal or play it multiple times, each time in a shorter time. To load all totems in 7 minutes is hard to do on most of these automatically generated maps. It depends on where are the totems and how the map looks. On some rare maps it's possible to finish under 3 minutes, and on some it's hard to win in 9 minutes. The average map is a good challenge to finish in about 7 minutes.
In this free game here on kongregate, i like to GREEN OUT the whole map before I switch on the totem packets :) MY GROUND! :D
I would love to be able to set the difficulty! I think, the best way to do that would be to set the emitters' output frequency or the amount. It would be nice to have a kind of a slider with at least 20 difficulty levels to set. The minimum output should be that in the original game. The maximum should be NOT more than HALF the survival mode output.

Love evermore. Just wish I could turn of "survival" mode to mess around. I always thought it would be nice, too, if you could prioritize builds. For example, perhaps "arm" droids priority over others, or "build" Sams first. Just musing while I mess around with Evermore.

As a tiny little criticism, please make a way of being able to control more than one drone at a time, something like pressing D for available drone. Or if there is a way that has somehow eluded me, make it more knowen.

DouglasGrave: You can always turn "off" the green node of Odin City to make sure you don't end the level before your desire. Then when you are ready, turn on the green node to end the level. I like the idea of guessing the warp-out point. Nice.

@mati21: Survival mode turns on automatically at an hour into the mission, because you should be able to complete any level in under an hour.
