I don't get the point of mana in this game. Magic does not seem any stronger than melee (at least at the beginning of the game) so having a drawback doesnt make any sense.

A is a really bad default choice for attack. Spamming for quick time events with your pinky is really annoying.

It was a great moment when I realized that this was Orpheus/Eurydice.

One of the problems I always have with these sorts of 'contraption' games is that there is some amount of luck involved: plans that aren't really thought out at all can manage to work. Not with this game. Every solution is completely deliberate and thus extremely satisfying. Reminds me very much of Braid in that regard. The music is amazing.

The only "challenge" involved in the challenge mode is maintaining interest long enough that you eventually get a hand where your opponent doesn't auto win.

I don't know if this is intended, but if you discard a card for sanity you don't take Taint damage that turn.

I wish there was a way to know what the rewards are before picking them, or a way to change which ones you picked. A lot of the descriptions are very verbose and show that you put a lot of effort into them, which is good. However, sometimes that makes it a pain to figure something out. For example, on the rewards I would give a brief explanation of what it is and then go into detail.
