It amazes me that people make it to 800k points - there's pretty much an ever - advancing solid wall of enemies past 350k points, which none of the fully upgraded weapons have enough DPS to break through.

Is it just me or are there suddenly meant to be way more enemies after about 200,000 points? I got overwhelmed and died at 293,380 points.

The tiny hitbox is appreciated, but it makes grabbing the heal pickups stupidly annoying. Should use the typical "hitbox for bullets, sprite for pickups" thing.

Beginning: OHCRAPOHCRAPOHCRAPOHCRAPOHCRAP-
After all the upgrades: Oops... I missed one of the little ones down the side...
Once the lag sets in: Oooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Crrrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaap...
And I was just starting to wonder why I needed all these medkits...

Once you're fully upgraded, just strafe across the screen slowly (by casually toggling the arrow keys on/off) about 1/3rd from the bottom. Doing so keeps the enemies cleared, and the missiles are always headed where you were about 2 seconds ago. You may still take a hit here or there, but you'll also get the heals. It's just a matter of patience then...which I haven't, since I'm actually interested in /enjoying/ the game.

Around 200,000, the game lags incredibly and the difficulty increases, so enemies fill the entire screen, which is why the highscore is only 880,000 and not 1,000,000+. It takes More than patience to get a really high score.

well its a fun game but is there ANNY referance to the game "THE BREACH" in which there was simply mindless slaughter of a huge ammount of violently mutated crew members and in this game its all in space in a fighter ship??
its still fun though :P

Simple and entertaining.
Something is bothering me though: there is a shortcut to Enter shop, but none to leave it. As a result i often take a few hits by the time i move my right hand back from the mouse to the arrow keys, which is saddening.

I find that it is best to upgrade the laser guns first, orbs second and cannon last. be aggresive early on to rack up points to upgrade faster, and when most ships are out of the way with everything leveled up to 2 or more you can constantly move in the center and get all points possible. with that strategy I usually get around 340,000. Find it hard to live when the whole screen's teeming with shells from the opponent though.

upgrade the orb first and get the other wepons wen orb is upgraded to lvl2 cep this alive so people that want help can read it

142,385. I easily could have sat there for another thirty minutes to claim the number 1 score for all time. But it gets so monotonous... Good game up until a minute or so after fully upgrading, 4/5.

Wow. Just wow. It's a good game but i was surprised about how much different Breach 1 and Breach 2. Honestly, I liked the style of the first game, but a little variety is always good!

@ daviddune - in the early levels use the orb to mop the weaker enemies up - upgrade to 2-3. Harder levels Upgrade the cannon - Screen turns green so AOEs rule. - upgrade to max. The Laser isn't great until its last upgrade. - upgrade to max after cannon. Upgrade the orb after. Leave the speed upgrade completely alone the whole way through. Only up that last. Keep moving left to right early game, and just follow the clouds of med packs late game. Hope that helps!

Love the music, though game play by now is seen and done a thousand times over. Also, there doesn't seem to be enough 'white space' in your paragraphs, makes them hard to read.

This is too hard at the beginning. Right from the start you either get a super slow cannon that kills a total of 1 enemy at a time, generic crappy cannons or a "Smart" cannon that's actually mentally disabled, while your ship is a turtle and if you manage to get to the part where the bigger ships come in you're still screwed. There's no way to dodge the bullets without crashing into the ships around you and getting owned in twelve seconds. If you stop to actually try and shoot you'll get owned by the 9001 bullets on the screen. Needs to be more balanced. 2/5

Simple game, mildly entertaining but very lacking. Could use intermissions where you have to fight a boss, could also use "armor" upgrades but only if the game is upgraded too, easy enough without armor as is. The game DOES get harder, technically, after you finish upgrading, but only in that it throws more and more ships at you until most of the screen is green with ships and bullets. I'll give it a 2/5 for keeping me amused at work for five minutes.

This really shouldnt be called Breach... Its just a REALLY basic invader+shop... even the music sucks, compared to Breach 1...
