One thing about this drives me absolutely up the wall. Not only can you not repeat a word, but forgetting you already used a word that game wipes your multiplier. Submitting a nonword wiping your multiplier is fine. Remembering whether you already played JAWS this game or last isn't a task I care to do.

Not to brag but my highest combo is 94.. I CANNOT beat that! Someone beat that! Because that doesn't even seem that high.. Is it high?

LOVE this game - timer and all! The whole point is to be able to think of words under pressure. An untimed mode would be nice for younger players. Needs hi score list!

Thanks again for everybody's comments. I've uploaded a new version that fixes the issue with the keyboard. I'm having trouble with both the chat and the high scores myself but having implemented Kongregate's code I appear to have no more control over it :-/

could use a non-timed mode with lower scores. it's quite difficult to come up with a word with the time running out..

bah, it was skipping 1 to 3 to 4 when i hit the right arrow and 4 to 2 to 1 with the left. looks like it was just incrementing by 2 instead of 1. this didn't happen with my first game, but was consistent on subsequent ones.
also, my scores were only updated with the results of my first play. the scores from my second game are not showing up. this may be because of the slow chat service, but it wouldn't be the first time that a game misreported.

fun game. had a glitch on my 3rd game where the keyboard arrows were causing it to skip around. 1->3->43s slow chat service thing.

Discoverd this game today when searching for "Crosswords". I'm glad I found it today now that there are high scores and keyboard support! Really really fun.

Agreed, keyboard typing is great also make it so there is a pause after each level and a different word each time. I had no idea I was on level 3 I thought I was still trying to complete level 1 till the time runs out.
