Thank you kongregate for giving us a quest that has a near-impossible badge in it. And thank you damajin for making not one, but TWO "skill" games that require more pixel hunting and LUCK to win, rather than actual thinking or skill. We find this game LOADS of fun, really, we do.

Yeah, sorry, but I have to agree with the majority of the complaints. The precision of the aiming is just awful. It's a very bad sign when watching a video doesn't actually make it any easier to execute. Clever idea, but terrible execution of the interface.

The level design makes this game too hit and miss--rarely can you see the solution; you have to feel it out by trying over and over. That, coupled with the fact that the controls are so sensitive and there is no way to slightly adjust from the previous attempt make this game little more than click-and-watch, click-and-watch, click-and-watch... I'd rather try to toss playing cards into a hat from across my living room.

Horrible excuse for a "puzzle" game. If you're going to force pixel hunting on your players, at least show the "ghost" of your last shot so you can adjust your next one by small increments. 1/5.

Its amusing that it is labeled a "five minute" game under tags, I guess it's true since that how long it takes for you to give up in frustration.......

to load a user created level look at it on the kongregate tab, NOT in game, and copy its EXACT url and put it in the address box. then go to that url by pressing "enter". the level will be the only thing you can play, so you will have to go back to the original game or its url to play normallly. hope this helps, too bad it will be quickly erased by other pathetic comments.

Boredom personified: Check ace guide. Emulate pixel-perfect setting. Repeat. (10 times to get a badge no one wants except it's needed for a quest medal).
Frustration personified: Play this "game" any other way.

Oh, and the Ace Guide won't do a darn thing. He makes it really precise.

This was the worst Quest experience ever.
I have to align the line PERFECTLY, and when I shoot, the few pixels off I am screw me over.
And when I do get what I presume to be the right path, the ball takes a completely different path at the end. I now have pure hatred towards flaming balls. Thanks.

I absolutely cannot stand that a lot of levels must be "aced". What's the point of celebrating something that is forced on the player?

Really, how can a game about lighting things on fire be this miserably unfun? After the first couple of levels, there's absolutely no skill involve -- it's all about guessing at which pixel will randomly allow your fireball to bounce in the right directions. Things are made worse by the fact that the game has virtually zero margin for error - not only does a clear level require you to get everything in a single shot, many of the levels only give you one shot to begin with, making the procedure even more pointless. It's not a bad concept, but as it stands the play is just too punishing without much reward.
